I didn't collect TB Joshua's money & I didn't make noise like you ––Bayo replies Ibekwe

When journalists are covering a particular premises for as long as one week, due to an unfortunate incident, it is only natural for the owner(s) of such building to appreciate them with cash as most media houses do not give their journalists enough money to sustain them in the location for that long period.
That was what TB Joshua did and one Nicholas Ibekwe thought he should become an activist overnight and he started campaigning that TB Joshua bribed journalists. Funny, indeed. The collapsed Synagogue building is not hidden, the popular Prophet never asked any of the journalists to go and reduce the casualty figure to deceive people. So, what is the noise by Ibekwe all about?
Anyway, another journalist, Bayo AKinloye, has come out to say he also declined taking the money offered for personal reasons but did not see any reason to make noise about it. See what he said below:

I will just advise Nicholas Ibekwe to about his life without stress. Stop painting those false pictures.

2015 Election will be Tough, We Want to Take Over ––Buhari

Ex-Military Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari has predicted that next year’s general elections will be tough and urged all APC members to collect their voters’ card and hold on to them.

He called on Nigerians not to vote for treasury looters in 2015, saying provision of free amenities is possible. He rolled out the party’s package for Nigerians; improved infrastructure, water, electricity and improved education system for Nigerians, under a new government run by the APC.
In Buhari's words: “The next five months will be very tough, because we want to take over the government, from Councillorship to Presidency.
“Next election is going to be different and next year is going to be tough because APC is ready for change in Nigeria. We will stop corruption; no more will anybody put government money into private pockets."

Meanwhile, the All Progressives congress, APC, has said “Nigeria is terribly asleep and is having a serious nightmare,” and will continue to experience such as long as the ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, remained at the helms of affairs.

National Chairman of the APC, John Odigie-Oyegun, who stated this at Lokoja Township Stadium, Kogi State, during the formal reception of Kogi PDP decampees into the party on Tuesday, said “PDP is giving Nigeria a bad dream."

The former governor of Edo State, however, said there “is hope for Nigeria if Nigerians wake up fast and vote for APC which is becoming the fastest growing party in Nigeria, and has come to remedy the ills meted on the country.”

Addressing the crowd, he said, “APC is growing so fast. Many of you know I have been here three times in the past and I tell you this is the greatest crowd I have seen.

“The PDP is finished anyway. Have we forgotten the N20 billion? Have we forgotten the N225 million armoured tank? Can we forget the $9.3million? Can we forget Boko Haram? And, look at it here in Kogi State, look at the very stadium we are standing, where the government cannot fix its roofs.

"But, I want to tell you that as soon as APC comes into power, we will change all these for the better."

Tweet of the day from Kate Henshaw

Lol. Right, Ms Henshaw. If I get a million naira for every time someone sends me their account no., I'd be a billionaire. Lol. But it's all good. You continue hustling na, you never know...:-)

This may not be news but...:-)

You know what they say, if you don't want 'it', don't start 'sh'. Hehe. So I was jeje minding my own business when an observant LIB reader sent me this. You can like and read below as I stroll away to go look for news...:-)
Dear Linda, Waconzy’s picture wasn’t with 100 dollar bills as he claimed. He only put a 2013 series 100 dollar bill in front. You can tell the other notes behind are discoloured and worn. They are all 1s. Stripper money!!
Here’s the evidence:
As you can see in his pic. The circles/curves that exist on the top left part of the note and the whole left side. Those circles/curves don’t exist on the 100 dollar bill. Only on the 1 dollar. The total money there is like 900 dollars. If he wanted to show off, he should’ve just taken his time to borrow some money. So burn him please. Thanks.

Top Nigerian bookmaker posted around N7,560,040.82 million in operating losses as they had one of the worst weekends since the new season starts on a single ticket  following a string of unexpected draw ( X ) outcome results.

A host of online/retail punters were left laughing all the way to the bank after 8 League sides all drew their weekend’s matches, causing a great deal of rich accumulators  winning.

This just goes to show that online/retail punters can beat bookmakers in their own game, and even if these kind of weekends do not happen too often, it is certainly good to know that even betting on football favourites can see you turn a nice

Retired Police boss kills self, wife and son in Ogun state

A retired Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sunday Isokpehi, who at one time served at the Lagos state police command anti-robbery squad, on Saturday September 20th, killed himself, his wife Gladys and their son at their Sango Ota, Ogun state residence after a heated argument with his wife.

According to reports, the former police boss and his wife began fighting when they returned home from a wedding on Saturday after he accused her of disgracing him at the wedding by getting drunk.

The woman reportedly denied being drunk and before anyone could stop the couple, they started fighting. Seeing that his wife was overpowering him, the retired police boss went for his pump action riffle and shot his wife and then shot their son who had been trying to separate them. Seeing the gravity of the crime he'd committed, Isokpehi reportedly turned the gun on himself.

After the unfortunate incident, neighbours told police that the couple fought regularly.
Confirming the sad incident, the Ogun state Police spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said the bodies of the all three have been deposited at the hospital for autopsy. He said the police will carry out a detailed investigation.
