Rick Ross has reportedly been put on life support after being hospitalized. The 42-year-old rapper fell ill at his home in Davie, Florida, with someone calling 911 at 3.30am on Thursday to say the person in distress was ‘unresponsive with heavy breathing’, TMZ reports.
The caller said the man in distress had a history of seizures and that they tried to wake him but he was ‘slobbing out the mouth’.
According to TMZ, Rick is being treated in the hospital’s cardiac unit, and it is suspected the star suffered a heart attack which manifested itself in respiratory issues.
'We’re told doctors have put him on something called ECMO, or extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. It’s a technique used to oxygenate his blood outside of his body, before it’s pumped back into his body. It’s essentially a form of life support, and a clear sign of how dire the situation is.
‘When will the federal government and the house make laws that will restrict the Military and uniform men from carrying ammunition at civil gatherings. When will our law enforcement agencies stop killing those they are meant to protect?
On Monday 26th of February at exactly 6:45pm, myself( Adeleke Taiwo) Kehinde and some if our friends got to trans to chill after the day’s work.
That is how we have been going there since 2016 without causing any trouble in the vicinity. Before now, we have always been seeing men if the operation Burst with Seyi (Fathers Luski) the owner of the Bar. They drink, chat and smoke together on a daily basis.
He always use them as a tool of oppression over anyone who question him. At exactly 7:20pm, Kehinde Adeleke, a young, intelligent and friendly young man who just clocked 30 years last month was shot with a gun of one of the men of the operation Burst constituted by the Abiola Ajimobi led government in Oyo state at the Trans Amusement Park around Agbowo.
It was gathered that, Kehinde who was killed by Father Luski and men of the operation burst sent his immediate younger brother Damola an errand to get him food.
On Damola’s return, some guys were arguing with him for parking space and all of a sudden the guy slapped Damola Adeleke. Someone went to call Kehinde Adeleke that his younger brother Damola is being beaten up by some guys. On getting there, Kehinde was trying to inquire what transpired between the duo.
However, during the conversation, Seyi( Father Luski) the owner of the bar appeared with some men of the Operation Burst who even without any question from those involved in an argument asked father Luski what was wrong then father Luski pointed to Damola Adeleke as the trouble maker.
Immediately he said that, one of the men of the operation Burst smashed a big stick on Damola’s head who fainted immediately.
People rushed to get water and pour it on him. As that was going on, Kehinde was telling Father Luski that he has not done well that he supposed to settle this and not put blame on one person.
The argument went on for almost 5minutes before Father Luski became angry and collected riffle hanged on the shoulder from one of his friends (Men of the Operation Burst) then shot Kehinde in the neck which I was there with the owner of the Bar (seyi AKA father luski ), I was the one hold and dragged the owner of the bar (seyi) in to my car that he had killed my immediately twin brother which he could not escaped. When people heard the gun shot, everywhere was scattered . The operation burst now started spraying gun shots around the premises.
The remaining men of the operation burst ran away but when they got to know that The second in command and the owner of the bar that shot kehinde Adeleke which is called Father Luski has been apprehended by Kehinde’s brothers and friends, the operation burst locked the Trans gate and prevented them from taking Kehinde to the hospital for over 30min.
Tope was the one driving the car where Kehinde was kept. Some men of the operation burst pointed gun to his head that he should open the door for The apprehended culprit to escape.
Immediately when we left there, we took Kehinde Adeleke to UCH, he was rejected, we immediately took him to Eleyele police Hospital at the police headquarters, the Doctors there said he was still alive but they don’t have necessary tools to carry out any surgery on him that we should take him to Molly Hospital at IDI APE.
When we discovered that these hospitals are not attending to us, we called our friend and Brother, Babatunde Badmus who then help us took him to Molly Hospital from Eleyele.
On getting to Molly hospital, we were told by the doctor who attended to us that they couldn’t feel any pulse again. Then we went to UCH to reaffirm that. On getting to UCH, we saw three patrol vans of operation burst fully loaded with men and ammunition.
They blocked the normal entrance then we took the exit so that we can get to the emergency ward. While we were going to Molly hospital, two of our friends who could not follow the car we were carrying took bike and waited for us at the emergency gate of UCH.
It was later realized that men of the operation burst arrested these two guys, tortured them and asked them to call us to come out that they want to arrest all of us.( Those guys were not handed over to the police for questioning but we’re brutally tortured overnight by the operation burst in their office around NTA IBADAN.
They failed to arrest us because of our number and our peaceful resistance coordinated by Babatunde Badmus who helped us to drive him to all the hospitals.
Immediately when we entered the emergency, the colonel in charge of the Operation Burst commanded his men to take positions as if they want to wage war against us.
They started corking their guns and pointing it at us. Then Babatunde Badmus went to meet the leader of the team and have a discussion with him on why should his men bring ammunition to the hospital where civilians are being treated? But he had no tangible answer.
At the end, we had some videos of the Operation Burst fully armed inside the hospital and how they were ready to kill more people.
We all went there without any ammunition. We were only sad because our brother was killed yet, we were being victimized by the law enforcement agencies.
We later took him to the Mortuary with some men of Sango Police station where his body was kept’

The remains of a 20-year-old Imo State local footballer, Chidubem Ezeagu, have been found in a shallow grave in a bush.
It was gathered that the deceased was a celebrated footballer who recently captained his club to win two major trophies in the state.
The tragedy, which happened at Umuelele Irete, in the Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State, devastated residents and the deceased’s family members.
The body was discovered one week after he was declared missing by his family.
The victim’s elder brother, Timothy, told Punch that Chidubem left home around 8.30pm last week Sunday.
He said the family declared him missing on Tuesday when attempts to find him failed.
“Chidubem left the house last week Sunday and never returned. We called his telephone number all through Monday, but he did not pick it.
On Tuesday, his telephone number became unreachable and that was when we sensed danger.
“We reported a case of missing person at the Ogbaku Police Station. We equally reported it to the youth leader of the village.
A search was conducted throughout the village. “It was in the cause of the search that one man told us that some Hausa buried a corpse in a shallow grave.
“He said a man had called the Hausa people to identify a corpse on the ground. When they couldn’t identify the body, they buried it in a shallow grave to avert breakout of an epidemic,” Timothy said.
However, the state Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, said he had directed the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department to take over the case.
The CP, who said the killing appeared cult-related, said the command was committed to providing adequate security.
Ezike said, “I can confirm that the matter was reported to Ogbaku Police Station as a case of missing person until on Saturday when his remains were found buried in a shallow grave.
The SCIID has been directed to take over investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death, which appear cult-related.”
No fewer than five people, including a policeman, three others and a pupil, were reportedly killed on Tuesday when some hoodlums clashed with policemen from the Area D Command, in the Akala and Idi-Oro areas of Mushin, Lagos State.
According to PUNCH Newspaper, trouble started when a police team raided a shop on Elegba Street, where some hoodlums sold hemp.
The hoodlums attacked the policemen with broken bottles and stones in retaliation. It was gathered that the policemen who retreated, reportedly returned with reinforcements and engaged the hoodlums in a gun battle.
While speaking to a correspondent, an eyewitness, said the police shot tear gas canisters into two private secondary schools, Ansarudeen Comprehensive College and Amazing Grace Secondary School, where some pupils were choked, and a pupil of Amazing Grace, Samuel Okechukwu, who was asthmatic, reportedly died.
The witness said, “The police had been raiding Akala and Idi-Oro for some weeks now and carrying away bags of hemp.
The hoodlums believe that the police resell them. They had been planning to fight back.
“Last night (Monday), a man on Elegba Street took delivery of hemp worth N7m and the police got information about it.
Around 11am, the policemen, led by the Area Commander, Area D Mushin, Akinbayo Olusoji, headed for the shop and seized the hemp.
“The residents, who had been enraged by previous raids, mobilised and launched an attack. They threw stones, broken bottles and other items at the policemen.
“The policemen returned with reinforcements. Three people were shot dead. They fired two tear gas canisters into Ansarudeen Comprehensive College on Alhaji Lasisi Street and another one entered into Amazing Grace Secondary School on Elegba Street. Many of the pupils were affected. A boy died in Amazing Grace.”
It was learnt that the victim, Okechukwu, who was in Junior Secondary School two, was confirmed dead in a hospital.
Another pupil, who was running home in the confusion that followed the shootout, was reportedly hit by a vehicle. His leg was broken.
A source faulted the police for shooting tear gas into the schools. “They should have known that at that period (11am), the pupils would be on break and would be playing on their premises. The boy that died lived with his parents on Amodu Street, Idi-Oro. He was their only child,” he added.
A resident, who did not want to be identified, said a policeman was killed, and noted that many passersby were injured during the mayhem.
The resident, however, said the fight was caused by alleged police extortion. “There are black spots in Idi-Oro where the hoodlums smoke hemp freely.
The police collect settlement from them. The police had gone there two weeks ago and got some settlements. They returned today (Tuesday) and the boys resisted and that was how the fight started.
“The hoodlums brought out guns and engaged the police in a shootout. It was like a war. The police had killed two of them before a cop was seized and stabbed to death. They brought out his intestines with bottles,” he said.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Chike Oti, said he was aware of the incident, adding that the details were still sketchy.
