Harrysong Had No Visa on His Passport When I Met Him - KCee Takes War with Ex-partner to Another Level

KCee & Harrysong

While speaking in an exclusive interview with Punch's Saturday Beats, Limpopo singer, KCee, who is at war with former partner and label-mate, Harrysong, claimed that the Reggae Blues crooner had no visa on his passport before he came to Five Star Music, adding that his record label helped to build his self-confidence.

Kcee said, “When Harrysong was with us, we paid for his video shoots. He never travelled with his money and I am saying that with all confidence. I challenge him to contradict what I am saying. When I met Harrysong, he had no visa on his passport. We gave him his visas.

He travelled business class even when he had yet to release any song under Five Star. "He started travelling business class locally and internationally just to build self-esteem and confidence. We did all that because we wanted him to live like a king as a Five Star artiste.

He travelled on a five star level. He shot all his videos internationally and I can show you all the invoices. Most of his videos were shot abroad."

Kcee further warned his former label mate to tread carefully as he had enough evidence to nail him. He added that he found it laughable for anyone to say that his career is dead without Harrysong.

According to him, he had remained in the Nigerian music industry for over a decade. He reminded his critics that he won Star Quest with his former singing partner, Presh, without Harrysong’s help. Kcee said that he later went on to sign with Kennis Music where he released three albums with numerous hits without Harrysong’s input.

“Harrysong knows the situation and the condition that he is and I just hope he would be careful. He needs to be careful. Harrysong never influenced our sound; instead we polished his sound and we added more groove to it. Harrysong is talented but he needs guidance. For me, I have my own weaknesses and he also has his element.

"I started as a DJ and I know what the people want and I direct his music. If you ask most of our producers, I changed the direction of his song, Better Pikin. He sometimes advised in my song; we had a collaborative relationship..

When you work as a team, it does not mean you own everybody; you cannot just write somebody off. "Can you think back to 2002 when I won Star Quest, it was a talent hunt, we wrote songs to win the contest. Asa was part of it. Nigga Raw, Klint The Drunk, The Natives, and a lot of young talents were there, we went through that and won. Asa was crying when she lost and her father was consoling her, I saw her.

Nobody gave us a chance during the contest. I won Star Quest and I was signed under Kennis Music where I recorded about three albums with them; who was writing my songs then? I recorded hit songs.

"Now Harrysong is gone and I am due to release my album, who wrote the songs on my album for me? I need some credit. Because you bring in one or two inputs does not mean you should look down on anybody, it is wrong. We are all human and I deserve some credit. I have been in this industry for a while,” he said.

Customs E-Auction: Why Many Will Lose Their Cars

File photo

Many Nigerians see the recently launched e-auction by the Nigerian Customs Service as an easy and cheap means of acquiring a car. However, what many of these Nigerians are not aware of is the implication of some of the terms and conditions of the electronic sales.

For instance, number 8 in the terms and condition of the sales states: “Take note for overtime cargo, that the successful bidder shall in addition pay 25% charges for Shipping Line and Terminal operators respectively.

Among the terms and conditions on the site, number 8 was the only one that the Nigerian Customs Service emboldened to lay emphasis.

A staff of the service who spoke to our correspondent explained that many of the cars up for auction had overstayed at the terminals and as such attracted overtime charges. He explained that most of them have already incurred overtime charges while also still owing the shipping line that brought in the vehicles.

“So for some of these overtime cargo the person who wins the car shall pay in addition 25 percent of his bid as overtime cargo and another 25 per cent as cost of shipping. “If someone wins a bid at N100,000 it means that the person will pay an additional N25,000 for overtime cargo and N25,000 for the shipping line,” he said.

He added that all the cars up for auction had already attracted overtime cargo charges stressing that the shipping cost on most of them had yet to be paid for since such payment are usually made at the point of clearing.

Our correspondent who took time to speak with a cross section of Nigerians reports that many of them were unaware of the implications of this and other conditions stipulated in the e-auction. A civil servant Mrs Taiye Edeni admitted that she was unaware of the implication of that provision.

He said he already planned to bid with all he has leaving only ample money to travel to the terminal to retrieve his vehicle.

Other respondents who spoke also admitted to not knowing the real implication of the terms and conditions stipulated by the NIS. The terms and conditions give a successful bidder only two weeks to move the cars they have won out of the terminal. This means that they should have paid the full bid price and 25 percent each of bid amount for overtime cargo charges and for shipping line.

It further stated that failure to clear the cars within two weeks it will revert to its pre-bidding status.

“The successful Bidder has two (2) weeks from the date of payment to remove the item bidded for or forfeit same at the expiration of the two (2) weeks. “Any auction item not removed from the warehouse within fourteen (14) days from the date of payment shall revert to its pre-bidding status.

6. The successful Bidder has two (2) weeks from the date of payment to remove the item bidded for or forfeit same at the expiration of the two (2) weeks.

“I Didn’t Rape Them So I Did Nothing Wrong” – Yobe Senator Caught Doing It With Many Girls Speaks

Earlier, we reported about former governor of Yobe state, Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim, whose s*x tape with multiple women surfaced. Now, the Senator Bukar Ibrahim has admitted he was indeed involved in the scandalous video that showed him dressing up in the presence of two women in a room, supposedly after sex.

According to Premium Times, Ibrahim, representing Yobe East Senatorial District, said in his first interview since the scandal broke that he had not committed any official wrongdoing and the video was only made public after attempts to blackmail him failed.

He said; “This is a personal, private matter. What does my having been with a girl have to do with the public? “You know the normal thing. People ask for unreasonable things, and if you deny them, they try to blackmail you if they have a way,”

Ibrahim said he couldn’t remember where or when sexual activities took place, but the room appeared like a typical motel accommodation.

The senator said he owed no one an explanation since he was not accused of any crime.

“If they say I raped, that’s a different matter altogether,” he said. “Is it because I am a public official then I am not supposed to be entitled to private life?”

The senator said he knew when one of the women was filming him, but was told it was only for fun and they also wanted to illuminate the room with a camera.

“They just mentioned it to me as a joke and I took it as nothing really serious,” he said. “This is something that happened between two adults.”

Ibrahim, who signed a controversial Sharia law while in office as governor, nonetheless, said; “I have commenced investigations to find out why it is circulating,” the senator said.

“But from all indications, it is a blackmail.”

Sahara Reporters had published a video roughly two minutes long, showing Ibrahim reaching for his underwear, apparently after emerging from the shower.

In the room, one of the two women in the video held a device that was capturing the activities; while the other strolled about. But none of them was stripped like Ibrahim.

Arsenal Set To Announce Signing Of Mahrez, As Wenger Fails With Lemar Bid

Arsenal have turned their sights to Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez, as chances of luring Thomas Lemar has become slim.

Calciomercato reports that Arsene Wenger is ready to snap up Mahrez, who he previously tried to sign last summer and a deal could be completed quickly.

The Algerian has already publicly admitted that he wants to leave the King Power Stadium this summer, in search of a new adventure – a stance which could make an exit easier to negotiate.

Arsenal’s rejected bid for Lemar is believed to have been in the region of £30m. The 21-year-old helped Monaco win the Ligue 1 title last season for the first time in 17 years and has three years left on his contract.

Busted: See the 25 Fulani Expressway Kidnappers Caught In Kogi (Photo)

Some of nabbed suspects

The Special Anti- Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Kogi State Police Command had a good reason to smile when it made a big haul and arrested over 25 suspected Fulani kidnappers and robbers who operated along Osara-Lokoja Expressway, Kogi State under the cover of herding cattle for free range grazing.

According to Sun Sun, the Kogi Commissioner of Police, Mr. Wilson Inalegwu who disclosed this development, commended the Commander of SARS, Supol Bimbo Oyewole and his operatives, who stormed the hideout of the Fulani herdsmen at Itobe and Adogo axis of Ajaokuta Local Government Area, Kogi state.

Also, he said that SARS operatives arrested the alleged kingpin armed robbers and kidnappers in the area, Olobo Abdul with 10 members of his gang, who operate Auchi-Okechi West and Osara-Lokoja Road.

According to Inalegwu, the gang kidnapped a foreigner in January 2017, and held him hostage in the bush until N1 million was paid to them as ransom.

The police boss said that the Fulani gang had June 3, 2017 attacked a passenger bus along the Osara-Lokoja and took some of the female passengers to their hideout in the bush, where they raped them and also collected N500,000 as ransom.

They kidnapped and robbed another set of bus passengers along the Kabba-Shoko road. They held the passengers for three days, collected N1 million as ransom and raped the female victims.

Inalegwu further revealed that the Fulani kidnappers and robbers masquerading as herdsmen also abducted a man in Okene. They took the sum of N400,300 from the victim and held him for seven days before he was released.

In the course of investigation, the SARS operatives arrested 23-year-old Abubakar Bamo and Mohammed Sani, 25, who conspired to abduct one Alhaji Buba at Adogo axis and he paid N1 million ransom after spending several days in the custody of the kidnappers.

The gang led the duo of Bamo and Sani were alleged to have terrorized the entire community of Adogo and Itobe in Ofu Local Government Area, Kogi State. Inalegwu stated that the SARS team made another breakthrough in May 2017 when it arrested Lawal Suleman Amdu and his gang.

He said that the gang had abducted over 10 victims and killed policemen on duty and stole their AK 47 rifles. However, he made heartwarming revelation that SARS operatives recovered police AK 47 rifles and ammunition as well as pump-action guns.

In the ensuing exchange of gunshots between the police and the Fulani gang, one of the members, Abubakar Mohammed, escaped to their camp in Obajana with bullet wounds, where a nurse, Taiwo Oladiran, treated him and extracted bullets from his body and was paid N30,000.

Luck however ran out on her and she was later arrested following a tip off. In a brief chat with Sunday Sun, she said: “I have been treating Fulani herdsmen whenever they were shot by policemen. I will go and treat them in the Fulani camp at Obajana, Kogi State.”

On his part, Abubakar Mohammed said: “We are cattle rearers but we have robbed several bus passengers along Okene, Osara/Lokoja and collected all their money. We kidnapped some of them and held them in the bush, where we raped the female passengers.

There was a time the police killed a member of our gang, but we re-grouped and started kidnapping anybody we saw in the bush in Itobe and Adogo communities. We also raped the female victims working in the farms.”

Bamo and Sani who are being held at the SARS headquarters told Sunday Sun that took special interest in killing policemen on duty and taking away their AK 47 rifles which they used to carry out their operations. Inalegwu assured that the command would not rest on its oars.

Rather it would continue to prosecute the renewed war against kidnappers and armed robbers. He said after investigations the suspects in custody would be charged to court.

He urged the people of Kogi to provide the police with useful information to enable it combat Fulani kidnappers and robbers more effectively.

Former School Teacher Stuns the World, Beats Manny Pacquiao to Claim WBO Welterweight Title

Manny Pacquiao was beaten by Jeff Horn

Jeff Horn, a former schoolteacher has stunned world champion Manny Pacquiao to win the World Boxing Organisation welterweight crown with a unanimous points decision in Brisbane on Sunday.

Given no chance by most observers, the 29-year-old Horn’s ultra-aggressive style proved too much for Pacquiao, with the three judges scoring the fight 117-111, 115-113 and 115-113 to the Australian after 12 rounds.

Pacquiao, 38, is an eight-weight world champion considered one of the greatest fighters of his generation. His camp had predicted a “short and sweet” win over Horn, a 2012 Australian Olympian. But Horn showed no signs of being overawed by the occasion, taking the fight to the Filipino great from the opening bell.

He moved forward relentlessly, not allowing Pacquiao time to find any rhythm.

Pacquiao did manage to land some left jabs in the opening rounds to take the early points, but Horn refused to back away and his brawling tactics paid dividends through the middle stages.

Pacquiao, bleeding profusely from cuts to the head high above both eyes, then launched a savage counterattack in the ninth round and appeared to have Horn in trouble, only for the Australian to come back and win the 10th as he reasserted control.

Both fighters began to tire in the final two rounds but Horn’s early lead proved too much to peg back as he claimed the biggest win of his career.

Pacquiao had been hoping to set up a second big-money showdown with Floyd Mayweather, but it was Horn who called for a fight with the unbeaten American immediately after his win.
