Controversial billboard taken down

Controversial billboard proclaiming "Wyoming has Gonorrhea" has been removed from a street in the state about a month after it was installed. Installed by the Wyoming Department of Health, the billboard which was designed to encourage residents to get tested for sexually transmitted infections, resulted in numerous complaints to the department after pictures of the advertisement went viral on social media. The billboard was removed last week.

British jet with 189 passengers on board dodged missile while approaching Sharm El Sheikh

Police Order Suspension Of Devotion In Schools Over Security Threat

The police have ordered the suspension of assembly devotion in primary and secondary schools nationwide.

This follows an intelligence report that pupils may be targeted during the exercise by insurgents.

Arizona man gets life in prison for killing his six-year-old nephew who witnessed him kill his father

A jury sentenced an Arizona man, Christopher Rey Licon, to life in prison Friday for killing his six-year-old nephew after the child witnessed his father's shooting death. 

Licon was spared the death penalty and a judge will decide whether he will spend the rest of his life in prison or be eligible for release after 35 years.
Licon was convicted in mid-September in the 2010 shooting deaths of his half brother, Angel Jaquez, and his nephew, Xavier Jaquez.

Jurors deliberated for two days before reaching the decision on punishment. 

He does not face the death penalty in his brother's killing and will be sentenced to 16 to 25 years on December 16.
