LASEMA Rescues 3 People From Fallen Container Accident At Ojuelegba Bridge As Others Die (Photos)

A container fell off the popular Ojuelegba bridge on Tuesday night as three people were reportedly confirmed dead, while three others were rescued in yet another tragic accident in the commercial city of Lagos.


It was gathered that the officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) who swiftly came to rescue, rounded up rescue operation around 4:00am on Wednesday morning. 

The truck which container fell-off from While speaking to a correspondent, a source said two people had been recovered dead before one of those rescued alive gave up the ghost. “Three people died in the accident. The truck did not fall as some are reporting. It was the plywood that fell from the truck on the bridge, probably due to overloading. The corpses have been deposited in a morgue, while the injured are receiving treatment in a hospital,” she said.

Two grown men were seen exchanging blows inside the rain because of a woman.

According to social media reports, efforts to separate the aggrieved duo failed as they were bent on a show on strength.
