Mum's Hilarious Letter To Rebellious Teenage Son Telling Him To Behave Or Start Paying Bills Goes Viral

A mum's letter to her rebellious 13-year-old son warning him to start behaving or face paying the bills has gone viral. The single mum, who goes by the name Estella Havisham, said her son Aaron seemed to have "forgotten" he was "only 13 and I'm the parent". She tallies up the costs that he needs to cover, from $430 for rent, $116 for electricity, $21 for internet and $150 for food. She also instructs Aaron to empty the rubbish, clean his bathroom, make his own meals and clean up around the house. Offering him a compromise, she says if he would rather be her "child again, instead of roommate, we can renegotiate terms". The letter has already gained more than 88,000 likes and 162,000 shares after it was posted on Facebook.

How Okada Rider Violently Raped And Disvirgined 14-Year-Old Girl In Lagos

It’s been 10 days since she was violently raped by an okada rider who took her home from her aunty’s shop, but 14-year-old Esther (not real names) was still writhing in pain and sobbing when PUNCH visited her on Tuesday. With little signs of attaining puberty, she looked very young and innocent. Even though she tried as much as she could to hide her pains, a mix of anger and regret was still written boldly on her face, and she occasionally appeared lost in some painful thoughts. She sat quietly on a wooden stool in her aunty’s shop and looked round to make sure no one was listening or watching as she made to share the saddest story of her life with Saturday PUNCH.

Thief dies 'twice' in hospital after being stabbed in stomach by house owner

A thief 'died' twice in hospital after being stabbed in the stomach by the owner of a house he had robbed. The thief, 38 year old Craig Norman, spent nearly six months in Manchester Royal Infirmary and is now facing the threat of being jailed.

The courts heard how he used a spring-loaded punch to get into the home of 44 year old Lee Fellowes and his wife Kelly, 33.

Mr Fellowes went into the kitchen of their home after hearing the sound of smashing glass and when he looked towards the front door he saw a hand reaching for a bunch of keys in the lock, said prosecutor Subhanur Chowdhury. He kicked out at the hand but Norman managed to grab the keys and disappear.
“Bare-footed and in his pyjamas Mr Fellowes ran out of the back door. On the way he picked up a kitchen knife to protect himself and his young family,” said Mr Chowdhury.
Outside he saw a vehicle driving away at speed and thought the intruder was driving.
So Mr Fellowes went back into the house and that was when he saw his wife struggling with a masked man dressed all in black and armed with a hammer.
Mr Chowdhury added: “Mr Fellowes ran at the man. Instinct took over and he pushed his hand holding the knife into his midriff. He pulled the knife out of the man’s body and it fell to the ground.”
Despite his serious injury, Norman managed to escape and on reaching home was covered in blood, it was said.
In court, Maggie McCormack, who is Mr. Norman's lawyer, said “Norman suffered a life endangering wound. And after being admitted to the MRI twice died. He does have a record but he takes issue with some of the evidence against him.”
Norman, she said, pleaded guilty to burglary and the theft of keys valued at £50. He was bailed and due to appear at the Crown Court for sentence on October 6.

President Muhammadu Buhari and the Federal Government of Nigeria unreservedly condemnWednesday's detention of the Interim President, the Prime Minister and other ministers of the transitional government of Burkina Faso in an apparent coup d'etat.

President Buhari and Nigeria align with ECOWAS, the African Union and the United Nations in rejecting the brazen contravention of the constitution and transitional charter of Burkina Faso by elements of the Presidential Guard under the leadership of General Gilbert Diendere.
President Buhari and Nigeria urge the Defense and Security Forces of Burkina Faso to keep faith with the agreed transitional programme for the return of the country to full democratic rule after elections, which were due to be held in the country onOctober 11, in support of which Nigeria has donated 20 pick-up vans to the National Electoral Commission of Burkina Faso.

While welcoming the news that the Interim President, Mr. Michel Kafando has now been freed, President Buhari and Nigeria also demand the immediate release of Prime Minister Isaac Zida and other detained ministers.
Nigeria will give the fullest possible support to ongoing efforts by the ECOWAS mediatory team of President Macky Sall of Senegal and President Boni Yayi of Benin Republic to quickly restore Burkina Faso to the path of order, democracy and constitutionalism.
The President urges the people of Burkina Faso to remain calm and steadfast in support of the transitional order, elections and democratic governance with the full assurance that Nigeria, ECOWAS and the international community will uphold their right to peace, freedom, democracy and good governance.
