Woman Faces Trial For Stabbing A Man Who Touched Her Boobs Without Her Consent

A 28-year-old woman, Ifeoma Okoroafor, on Friday confessed before a Gudu Upper Area Court in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, that she inflicted injuries on a man because he touched her breast without her consent. The Prosecutor, Urom Inah, told the court that the complainant, Musa Goddy of Police Barracks, Garki, reported the matter at the Garki Police Station on February 28. Inah said the defendant attacked him and used bottle to inflict injuries on him for no reason, adding that Okoroafor could not give any satisfactory account of her actions during police investigation.

A secondary schoolgirl who ran away from home in Enugu State four months ago, has been found pregnant in Lagos. According to New Telegraph, the girl, simply identfied as Chidinma,18, was found in Lagos after a frantic four months search by her anxious parents. She was three months pregnant by the time she was found in Lagos. The man who impregnated her is 21-year-old Idris Umar. Umar is an aspiring musician, but presently a hairstylist. The police said that Umar may be charged with abduction and rape. Chidinma, however does not show any sign of remorse in running away from home or being pregnant.

Teacher Arrested In Ogun For Beheading School Proprietor’s Grandchild Over N8,000 Unpaid Salaries

The Ogun state police has announced the arrest of one Edet Umoren in Esugbo, Itamerin near Ijebu-Ife in the Ijebu East Local Government Area of the state for allegedly beheading a 10-year-old pupil, Precious Adedeji. Adedeji, who was a pupil of Favour Nursery and Primary School, was the granddaughter of the proprietor, Pastor Joseph Olitoye, while Umoren was both a teacher at the school and a treasurer at the Olitoye’s church. Punch reports that Umoren claimed to have killed the pupil because Olitoye owed him N8, 000 – being the sum of his salaries for January and February. Umoren, also allegedly cut off the right hand of the 10-year-old girl after seizing and dragging her into a nearby bush when she and her friend, Patricia, were returning to the school from where they had gone to buy biscuit.
