She pleaded guilty to her crimes in August.
The abuse started when the former student was 14, authorities said. She became a family friend when Wilfinger was coaching the boy’s football team, reports KTNV. Wilfinger and the teenaged victim both told police they had sex three times, reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

“I am referring to the commissioner who is sleeping, you can go back home to sleep since you cannot endure the session,” he said.
Although the governor did not mention the name of the sleeping commissioner, he pointed to the row of the commissioners to issue the directive.

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday denied the bail applications filed by leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and three others with whom he is being prosecuted by the Federal Government for offences including treasonable felony and an act preparatory to act of terrorism.
Justice Binta Nyako said the four defendants were not deserving as most of the charges preferred against were “ordinarily not bailable”.
This comes after Justice John Tsoho had earlier denied Kanu bail before Kanu accused him of bias which forced the case to be transferred to Nyako.
The case was transferred to Justice Nyako on the account of Kanu’s allegation and all the accused were re-arraigned before the judge on November 8.
Ruling on Thursday, Kustice Nyako held that she had no reason to “deviate” from the earlier “findings” Justice Tsoho, who had earlier refused to grant bail to the accused before Kanu accused him of bias and the case was later re-assigned to Justice Nyako, Punch reported.
She denied Kanu and the others bail and said the charges preferred against them were “serious offences”.
She said as an alternative, she would order accelerated hearing of the case.
Kanu’s co-accused who were denied bail on Thursday were the National Coordinator of IPOB, Mr. Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi.
They were, in the 11 counts, including treasonable felony, accused of managing an unlawful society, publication of defamatory matter, illegal possession of firearms and improper importation of goods.
Onwudiwe was specifically accused in one of the counts of an act preparatory to an act of terrorism.
All the counts were in connection with the accused persons’ alleged broadcasts on Radio Biafra and agitation for the secession from Nigeria, states in the South-East and South-South zones and other communities in Kogi and Benue states to constitute a Republic of Biafra.
The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has said the Operation Python Dance embarked on by the Nigerian military in the South East is a declaration of war against Ndigbo.
This was made public in a statement yesterday by the National Director of Information of MASSOB, Comrade Samuel Edeson, in Abakiliki.
MASSOB said the action of the military amounted to political declaration of state of emergency in South-East geopolitical zone. Edeson said the action of the military was intended to maim the people of Biafra and prevent them from returning home for the Christmas celebration.
Edeson said, “The leadership of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, after our National Executive meeting today at MASSOB headquarters, Okwe, Onuimo Local Government Area, which also coincided with first anniversary of the new leadership of MASSOB under our amiable leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu condemned in totality the recent declaration by Nigerian Army of Operation Python Dance in Biafra land.
“The meeting which was presided over by our leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu at Okwe resolved as follows: ‘That Operation Python Dance is another dimension of prosecution of war by Buhari-led administration against Ndigbo. It also amounts to political declaration of state of emergency in South-East states.
“That Army headquarters, with their ulterior negative motives, started this annihilating operation on November 27, without any public enlightenment and orientation in order to maim the people of Biafra. “That the primary target and reason of this operation is not against pro Biafra groups, as we have no public functions in this Christmas season.
It is against the people of Biafra, mostly the Igbo during this Christmas period through intensive pressurized monetary extortion, harassment, mesmerization and secret/extra judicial killings of Ndigbo because of current Biafranization of Igboland and Ndigbo.
“That Christmas season is a period of Igbo gathering with much concentration in Igboland, so to the military, it’s a fertile land and opportunity for creating fears/tensions among our people which they thought will derail the love, confidence and consciousness of Biafra.
“That this is an extension of Buhari-led administration’s forceful islamisation of Igboland through military fears and religious intimidation. This operation is also designed to demoralize the people of Biafra from returning home for Christmas celebration.”
However, many people have commented that the occupation of the military in the south east was unnecessary as they are needed more in the north where Boko Haram is ravaging the people.

“University of Lagos was a whole new world for me. I had gotten admission to study English Language (Big Mummy thought I was studying Law and would find out in my second year that I wasn’t) but I never went to classes.
“Then my third year results came out. I had gone to check the results on the notice board in school, and right beside my name, where my Grade Point was supposed to be was ‘Advised to Withdraw’. “I wasn’t bothered at first. I started planning what I would do as a university dropout; travelling out of the country to start my life again was my favourite option. But I didn’t get a chance to put my plan into action. Big Mummy found out.”
The Rhythm FM Lagos On-Air-Personality disclosed further that she was spared on “humanitarian grounds”, and added that the incident marked a turning point in her life.
“A distant uncle was a professor in my faculty and was on the board that heard the cases of students advised to withdraw. When he heard my name, he called Big Mummy that very night. I hadn’t told anyone at home what happened, not even my sisters.
“Big Mummy came to school the next day and she had to go before the board with me to beg. After hearing my story and how I had lost my parents very early, the board decided on humanitarian grounds to let me take the year again.
“That decision marked the turning point of my life. I got my act together and in two years went from having an almost non-existent GP to a second class lower which I graduated with.”
