Two People Jailed 25 Years For Attacking A Man With Acid
Two people were on Thursday, March 24, jailed for a total of 25 years in connection with an incident where a man had acid thrown in his face. Following an eight day trial at Basildon Crown Court, Ashley Russell, 29 of Sunnedon, Basildon and Christina Storey, 31 of Studland Avenue, Wickford were found guilty of throwing a corrosive liquid with intent to do great bodily harm during the incident which happened in Kingsmere, Thundersley on June 3 2014. Russell was sentenced to 17 years in prison and Storey to 8 years.
