Too Much Swag! Check Out How Obama and Michelle Are Enjoying their Vacation (Photos)

The Obamas are enjoying their vacation

The Obamas have been caught on camera carefree and upbeat as they enjoyed the afternoon with their billionaire friend and host Richard Branson in the British Virgin Islands. They are currently on the day eight of their tropical vacation.

According to Daily Mail UK, the former first couple, who traveled from a long weekend in Palm Springs to the islands on Branson's private jet last Monday, were first spotted on a neighboring British Virgin Island Tuesday enjoying lunch.

Later in the day, Barack and Michelle, were caught on camera all smiles and waiving to people who were standing behind security guards as they walked together with Branson on the sand towards a waiting helicopter nearby.

The couple kept it casual, as they both sported shorts, sandals, hats and sunglasses during their outing on Tuesday.

Barack cheerfully said hello to those standing-by and replied 'thank you so much' to a man who told them to have a nice holiday.

The Obamas are believed to be staying at one of Branson's private islands. He owns both Necker and the recently opened eco-resort Moskito Island.

Shame to Bad People - Daddy Showkey Declares as He Reconciles Harrysong & KCee (Photo)

Recall that popular Nigerian singer, Harry Tare Okri, widely known as Harrysong was over the past weekend, arrested by KCee and his brother, E-money's Five Star Music over charges of fraud and breach of contract.

The record label had in a statement disclosed why they are taking legal actions against Harrysong and also advised the general public to desist from transacting any business with him, as same is both illegal and a total breach of his existing contract.

We revealed earlier in an exclusive new report that the battle between Harrysong and his estranged record label, escalated into a full blown war as the singer was re-arrested and even had to spend the night in Police detention in Lagos.

According to a new post made on Instagram by legendary raggae musician, Daddy Showkey, it seems peace has been restored as the two artists, KCee and Harrysong, have reportedly reconciled and even posed for a photograph.

Daddy Showkey posted the photo with the caption, “Shame to bad people…Together we stand.”

Transfer Deadline Day: Chelsea Star Player Arrives Russia for a New Club as He Says Goodbye (Photo)

For the first time since 2008, the Chelsea FC squad will not have Branislav Ivanovic in it as their hopes of winning the Premier League title will be tested on Tuesday night when the Blues take on Liverpool at Anfield.

The 32-year-old defender who has been rumoured to leave the club for some time, is on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

European clubs, Zenit St Petersburg and West Brom were chasing his signature, while rumours spread that Ivanovic preferred staying in the Premier League than moving back to Russia.

Regardless of whether that’s true, on Tuesday afternoon, Ivanovic was pictured in Russia having landed ahead of his move to Zenit.

While it’s far to say that Ivanovic is no longer the player he was, he’ll go down in the Chelsea annals as a legend.

During his time with the Blues he won the Premier League twice, the FA Cup three times, the League Cup once, the Champions League once and the Europa League once.

See How Nigerians Treated A Sierra Leonean After Years Of Sojourn In Delta

A Reverend Father, Israel Dibia, has called on Nigerians to shun speeches of hate and acrimony but focus on issues that will engender peace, love and harmony at this critical moment in Nigeria.

Fr. Dibia said the problem of Nigeria could be solved with the message of love and peace, insisting that the country could triumph over its challenges with the simple show of love and peace from all political and religious divides in the country.

The cleric spoke during the burial ceremony of a Sierra Leonean, Babatunde Lewis, who found his way into Okpanam, a suburb of Asaba, the Delta state capital during the trying years of Sierra Leone, prior to the war that ravaged the economy of the West African country.

Babatunde was said to have come to Nigeria in 1983 and could not trace his way back to Sierra Leone after years of sojourn in Nigeria, thereby spending his entire life in the Delta community.

Considering the manner the community took care of him, the Reverend Father said the world is going in a wrong direction because many people who practice religion, place more emphasis on the rituals and forget the true message of love and peace.

The cleric’s message was based on the love the people of the community showed to the Sierra Leonean, who cared so much for him having lost knowledge of his way back to his home country.

He said: “By love everyone will know that you are the children of God. The kingdom of God will not judge you based on the number of bible verses you know or the time you gave to church activities but by the love you show. Babatunde was a man who was prompt in everything he did.”

He commended the people of the community for taking good care of him, giving him accommodation and organizing a befitting burial for someone they never knew from Adam.

Reverend Father Donatus Chukwuedo, who presided over the burial, said the deceased who came into Okpanam and was assimilated into the community life could not trace his family or relatives in Sierra Leone after years of sojourn in the community.

Consequently, he was adopted as a member of the community and given all kinds of treatment that were the exclusive preserve of the indigenes of the area.

He told the people that upon the death of Babatunde, investigation was launched with members of the Nigeria police force and immigration, and based on the report from the police, court affidavits and others, the community took up the burial of the stranger.

He said the Babtunde’s life, death and burial opened a new vista of history for the community, noting that: “We are showing the world that what binds us together as humans is more than blood but love. “It doesn’t matter the circumstance behind his departure and arrival on our shore. The only thing that matters is how well we received and accommodated him in Christ.”

He called on the international community to take cue from what the community people did, noting that Nigerians that are living in some other countries are being maltreated and made to suffer hardship for being not nationals of those countries.

Specifically, he mentioned South Africa, Libya, Italy, Liberia and Germany and other countries of the world, urging them to borrow a leaf from the incidence which had taken place in the Nigerian community.

“Our brothers and sisters are languishing in Libya, Italy, Liberia, Germany, and other countries in the world. These people are only trying to look for greener pastures. “They are being subjected to series of inhuman treatment. This is not fair. We hope these countries can borrow a leaf from what has happened today and do what is right,” Chukwuedo added.

M.I Blasts Journalist for Writing 'Offensive Article' About 2face's Planned Nationwide Strike

Rapper, M.I Abaga

Nigerian hip-hop artist Jude Abaga, popularly known as M.I has lashed out at one of the editors at Pulse, a Nigerian news site, for his disrespectful article against legendary Nigerian singer, 2face Idibia popularly known as 2baba for adding his voice to the planned protest in February against the government.

M.I who is the Chief Executive Officer of Chocolate City called out editor of ‘gist’ Ayomide Tayo over his antagonistic article which refered to 2baba as a 'false prophet'.

He said the article was totally disrespectful and capable of maligning the character of the legendary singer.

The rapper in a series of tweets preached to Tayo reminding him that as a journalist, he is required to write with integrity, be objective and show respect and decency to other humans.

M.I demanded an apology from the blogger, saying: ”I ask that you do better going forward.. views will not save your soul”. M.I threatened.

Read the controversial article below:

On Wednesday, January 25, 2017, Nigerian music legend 2face Idibia (who now likes to go by 2Baba) announced that he will lead a nationwide protest. According to him, the reason for the protest is because the Nigerian government has failed its people, and leading the country into an economic downturn.

First of all, shout out to 2face Idibia's ghost writer because we all know the famous singer did not write that long letter. 2face knows how to write songs but I am not sure he knows how to pen open letters.

Now, 2face wants to lead the people to march protest against the government's economic policies that are anti-people so to say. This is a worthy cause from the surface but let's look deeper. Why is our darling 2Baba protesting now? Surely, things are bad now but things have always been bad.

This is Nigeria, we have never had a good era as long as I can recall. The Buhari administration might have its faults (and they are plenty) but even the youngest Nigerian on the streets knows that the Goodluck Jonathan administration squandered billions of dollars.

A hallmark of democracy is freedom of expression and freedom to protest. 2 Baba and co are free to hit the streets and carry placards but as for me I will be at home listening to 'E Be Like Say'. Funny enough the lyrics of that song goes thus; "E be, like say you want me to tell me another story again oh. E be like say you want to act another movie again oh. E be like say you want to code another coding again oh."

2face Idibia is a remarkable human being and a great singer. He has done a lot for the promotion of peace during election periods. With all he has done, he shouldn't dabble into snapshot movements for cool points. He has dined and partied with the same men who have enslaved Nigerians for decades. Why not protest against them?

The problem of Nigeria is not partisan or APC and PDP. It's with our political system. As for the singers and celebs who have joined 2 Baba's protest, let me remind you that some of them danced alongside Ambode in his campaign video. After collecting their cheque, they moved on. These cheap endorsers for hire did not know any of Ambode's policies. All they did was danced and smiled.

These same singers were scared to endorse any Presidential candidate because they did not know who was going to emerge victoriously. Most of them did not want to offend the PDP by endorsing Buhari and also they were scared of the backlash they would receive from millions of Nigerians if they openly supported Goodluck Jonathan.

Silence is the gesture of cowards. It was clear that the nation had turned its back on Jonathan but they were scared to offend the mighty PDP.

Nigerians don't let anyone deceive you. If there is to be any protest, it will be started by the people of Nigeria and sustained by us. When we are tired of this animal farm of a country we will rise up and fight for what's ours.

Don't be led by false prophets who eat with the crooks in the corridors of power. The only musician led protest I can ever be a part of will be a protest led by the Anikulapo-Kutis. They live and breathe what they sing about.

If Femi and Seun Kuti are not involved, count me out. If you have not been with the people since day one, don't come out and parade yourself as pro-masses.

Props to singers like Sound Sultan, eLDee, M.I and others who have been consistent in the criticism of our political system with their music no matter who is in power.

2face Idibia also belongs to this category. The protest from my perception seems out of place in his narrative of conscious music and peace making efforts.

The Bible said in the last days there will be false prophets. This doesn't only apply to men of God but people with influence and power who act as is if they have the interest of people at heart.

God bless 2 Baba and the poor citizens of Nigeria Plc.

Mom Who RĂ¡ped Daughter’s 13-Year-Old Boyfriend Walks FREE From Court (See Shocking Details)

A woman raped her daughter’s 13-year-old boyfriend in a car after he sneaked out of his home in the middle of the night to meet her.

Elaine Goodman, 46, said she was “truly, truly hurt” by what she had done after pleading guilty to the charges. But she walked free from court after her lawyer said putting her behind bars was not the answer.

James Liguor told the judge his client was sorry and “hurt to the core by how much she hurt so many people”.

Goodman was arrested and charged with fourth-degree rape after Smyrna police received a report claiming the woman had s*x with a minor. The boy had snuck out of his home early morning on March 15, 2015, to meet with Goodman around 1am until 4:30am where they engaged in intimate acts inside her car.

The boy at one point told the Children’s Advocacy Center that Goodman kissed him and undressed before they had sex.

Police recovered DNA evidence from Goodman’s vehicle, clothing and the cell phone she used to communicate with the boy. Goodman wept in court, acknowledging that her actions “hurt people,” which was “terrible.”

“I know sorry is just a word, but I really am,” she said.

Deputy Attorney General Denise Weeks-Tappan said the mother only thought about herself without considering the boy’s well-being.

“The crime has affected the victim in many ways,” Weeks-Tappan said. “He’s hurt, embarrassed and it is affecting his schooling.”

She was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to attend s*xual disorder counseling and to be registered as a s*x offender.
