Musician Invokes Curses on Politicians with Crate of Eggs, Schnapps at a Cemetery (Watch Video)

A Ghanaian underground rapper named Lokal has now become the talk of town for his controversial video where he cursed out all of the country's politicians since the legendary Kwame Nkrumah using fetish items and standing in a place that appears to be a cemetry.

In his latest video titled "Gods Attack", which has already gone viral, the rapper invoked curses on politicians with one crate of eggs and Schnapps at a cemetery.

He called on Ashanti Region's acclaimed god Antoa to kill any politician in his category. Lokal accused some politicians of fraud, thievery and misuse of public funds and resources, and cursed them in a new video.

Nigerian Troops Kill 38 Boko Haram Terrorists

Thirty-eight Boko Haram Islamist fighters have been killed during military search operations carried out by Niger and Chad troops in the Diffa region of southeast Niger this week, an official said Friday.

Two soldiers were lightly wounded in the action and “on the enemy side; 38 terrorists killed,” Niger defence ministry spokesman Moustapha Ledru said on state television. Substantial quantities of weapons and munitions were also seized, Colonel Ledru added.


The joint army operations took place between Monday and Wednesday around the villages of Gueskerou and Toumour in southeastern Niger, he added.

According to villagers and NGO workers in Gueskerou, 30 kilometres from Diffa, Boko Haram elements attacked the town on Wednesday night, without killing anyone.

“The attack nonetheless caused a psychosis in the population” and “the assailants torched houses and stole food and medicines after pillaging shops and a pharmacy,” an NGO official told AFP.

Boko Haram’s seven-year insurgency has left at least 20,000 people dead in Nigeria and border areas of neighbouring Niger, Chad and Cameroon, and made more than 2.6 million homeless. Attacks in Niger’s Diffa region began in February 2015.

In late July this year a multinational force, drawn from Nigeria, Niger, Chad and Cameroon, was formed to tackle the Islamic insurgents and clear them out of towns and villages.

FIFA Ranking: Nigeria Moves Up in Global Ranking

Nigeria on Thursday moved up by three spots to place 64th in the world in the September ranking by Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA), world’s football governing body.

In the ranking table on FIFA’s website, the Super Eagles garnered 534 points as against 513 it had in August when it was placed at the 67th position. The latest ranking now puts Nigeria in the 14th position in Africa.


In spite of the shifts in the ranking, Argentina and Belgium maintained first and second place, respectively, cementing their positions at the summit of the world ranking for another month.

The large number of qualifying fixtures for continental competitions (26 matches) and the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia (61 matches) over September is reflected in significant movement in this month’s edition of the ranking.

Among the top five are Germany, Colombia and rejuvenated Brazil, under a new coach.

A total of 126 international A-matches were played over the past few weeks, bringing the total number of games so far in 2016 to 632. The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on Oct. 20, 2016.

According to Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, troops of 223 Battalion, 1 Brigade, 1 Division Nigerian Army, have continued to raid and clear suspected livestock rustlers and armed bandits camps in Zamfara State.

The troops during a raid on suspected armed bandits camp at Dumburum forest, Zurmi Local Government, killed 7 livestock rustlers and recovered large quantity of ammunition and a pair of military camouflage uniform.

Similarly, the troops also cleared suspected armed bandits camp at Bagega general area in Anka Local Government Area. Although the bandits managed to escape, an abandoned motorcycle was recovered and the camp was destroyed.

The troops also proceeded and cleared livestock rustlers and armed bandits camps located at Gando forest, near Baruba village in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of the State.

The troops killed 8 armed bandits during an exchange of gunfire. The troops have also mobilized to Kalgo village in Maru Local Government Area in pursuit of armed bandits that attacked the village.

Dead Boko Haram members killed by the Nigerian soldiers 

Deadly Boko Haram members have been killed by Nigerian soldiers. This was revealed in a statement by the Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman.

The statement reads: "Following reported observed activities of remnants of Boko Haram terrorists around Jororo and Tombaeji villages in Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe State, troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE carried out a clearance operation within the area in the early hours of Wednesday 14th September 2016. "

The fighting patrol team sent came into contact with Boko Haram terrorists elements around Gajire village during which there was a firefight that lasted for about 15 minutes.

"The gallant troops overpowered the terrorists and killed 4 of them and captured 1 alive. "The victorious troops also recovered 2 General Purpose Machine Guns (GMPG), 2 AK-47 Rifles and 144 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition from the terrorists. In addition, they also recovered 2 KASEA branded motorcycles.

"The troops have continued to patrol the general area in search of possible remnants of the Boko Haram terrorists that might be hibernating in the area.

"The ever vigilant troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE have continued their routine operations maintaining vigilance to prevent further actions by the Boko Haram terrorists in their respective areas of operations."

BREAKING NEWS: Boko Haram Releases New Video, Threatens to Capture President Buhari (Photos+Video)

In a new video released by the deadly Boko Haram sect, the Islamic terrorist group has said they were plotting to capture President Muhammadu Buhari.

The footage, narrated in Hausa, is said to have been shot somewhere in Borno State, northeast Nigeria where the sect has its base. It showed suspected terrorists praying on what the narrator said is an Eid ground on Sallah day on Monday.


The video was posted on YouTube on Tuesday and the group said it was using it to send out message that it remained a strong force.

The group’s leader, Abubakar Shekau, did not appear in the video, but the narrator said his deputy, whose name was not mentioned, represented him at the gathering.

In the video, which was recorded in composite to capture two Eid grounds, the group stated its willingness to continue its jihad against the Nigerian state and called President Buhari an infidel and threatened to capture him.

“This is our eid prayer from us and by the support of our leader Imam Abubakar Al-Shekau. We are extending our greetings to our people and fighters.

“Message to the infidels and the leader of the entire infidels (kafir) who is the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, that he should know we are very strong and doing very good. “By the will of Allah under the leadership of our leader (Shekau) will capture Buhari with our hands,” the group said.

The new video also comes a few days after Boko Haram allegedly indicated willingness for a prisoner swap with the Nigerian government in order to release the kidnapped Chibok girls, a move the federal government has said it is willing to consider.

A woman identified as Mapaseka Semenyane, is currently crying out for help with her son. The boy who is just 16-month-old, already weighs 18,5kg.

According to Daily Sun SA, the 30-year-old mum from phase 7 kasi in Mangaung revealed that her boy, Lucky, was already wearing clothes for kids aged between four and six and has size seven shoes. She said she couldn’t carry Lucky on her back because he weighed as much as a 10-year-old.


Mapaseka is very worried about her son as he keeps gaining weight at an abnormally fast pace. The worried mum said: “I gave birth by C-section at Pelonomi Hospital last April. Lucky weighed 3,9kg at birth and he has been growing very fast ever since. “He now weighs 18,5kg and doctors say that’s the weight for a 10-year-old.

The doctors have been testing his heart and so far they have said there is no sign of anything to worry about. “They say they will not be sending him for any more tests. I can’t hold my child or carry him on my back. “Luckily a Good Samaritan donated a pram but his clothes don’t last long as they become too small in a matter of days.”

Nthabiseng Mbalo (31), whose son Itumeleng was born 17 days before Lucky, said her child wore size three shoes.

“Mapaseka gives me clothes that no longer fit Lucky and I give her money for new stuff for him,” she said.

Free State Health Department spokesman, Mondli Mvambi, said they would continue to monitor and support Lucky’s family.

Teenage striker Kelechi Iheanacho struck the winner in Pep Guardiola’s first Manchester derby. Pep Guardiola revealed he started Kelechi Iheanacho because he wanted to make a statement to his players ahead of his first Manchester derby.
