Man Confesses To Killing 17 People For Politicians, Says He Was Paid N1.3million Per Head

Isaac Kwasi Fosu, an unemployed middle-aged man, stunned an Accra Magistrate Court on Thursday when he confessed to killing 17 people across the country for politicians. According to Adom Online, even though the accused could not mention who his supposed politician clients were, he alleged that he was paid GH¢25,000 (about N1.3million) by his contracting partners for the killings. He claimed that he carried out the gruesome act with four other people who are now on the run.

Fosu, a.k.a T O was arrested by the police on April 12 at Atibie Amanfrom in the Eastern Region after his cover was blown for allegedly murdering Kwaku Owiredu, a 15-year-old boy, in a cocoa farm at Abokyikrom near Nkawkaw. The Holy Family Hospital at Nkawkaw has given the interim report on the cause of Owiredu’s death as hemorrhagic shock, sharp edged laceration of anterior and suspected assault.

The police are on the heels of the four other accomplices currently on the run. They are Kwame Alex, Yaw Ampofo, William Arthur and Yaa Pokua.

According to the prosecution, Fosu and the four others on November 29 last year, at Abokyikrom intentionally caused the death of Kwaku by causing unlawful harm.

During his first appearance in the court presided over by Gloria Naa Botor Laryea, Isaac Kwasi Fosu was charged with conspiracy to murder and murder.

The magistrate accordingly remanded Fosu into police custody until June 18 to enable the police enough time to complete their investigations.

A 17-year-old man identified as Usman Abdu from Ganja ward in Ganjuwa local government area of Bauchi state has committed suicide over his failed marriage proposal to his 12-year-old cousin. According to a statement released by the State Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Haruna Mohammed, Usman carried out the act by hanging himself on a tree at about 9am on May 13th. “Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim hanged himself when his cousin, a 12-year- old girl of the same address rejected his marriage proposal.

Exhibit recovered include rope which the victim used in hanging himself while the corpse has been released to his relatives for burial after postmortem examinations" the police spokesperson said.

Usman was certified dead at Soro hospital in the state.

Terrifying Moment Woman Jumps In Front Of A Moving Train With Her Children In Suicide Attempt (Video)

A video footage has emerged that shows the terrifying moment a mother jumped in front of a train holding her two children in her arms. The CCTV film shows the mum and her kids, reported to be aged five and 12, heading onto the train concourse. The family made their way down the stairs and through the station. Seconds later, their grainy image can be seen standing at the edge of the platform.

Suddenly, the woman's figure can be seen jumping into the path of an oncoming train. Their bodies can be seen on the floor of the tracks before the train comes over them. The incident happened at the Kharkiv metro station in Kharkov, Ukraine. Both the mother and the two children survived, local media reported.

Queen's College Rape Saga: Accused Male Teacher Cleared

These days on the social media, once a man is accused of something, nobody wants to hear his own side of the story, people will just be calling for his head. People forget there are two sides to every issue.

The scandal that rocked Queen's college about a month ago has come to an end as an investigative panel setup by the Ministry of Education could not find any evidence against the accused teacher.

The male teacher, Olaseni Oshifala was accused of sneaking into the girl's hostel at night to handle and have inter-course with girls in their sleep.

He was also accused of flirting with some of his female students. The Minister of State for Education, Prof. Anthony Onwukah had setup a panel to investigate the matter on March 22nd.

Briefing Newsmen in Abuja on Friday, the Minister said, “The Investigation Committee did not establish any credible evidence against the accused teacher, considering the fact that Mrs Chinenye Okoye remained unidentified, faceless and inaccessible despite the Committee’s best efforts and assurances to protect her identity and that of her daughter.

"Consequently, the Investigation Committee finds it difficult to recommend disciplinary action against the accused teacher as the complainant failed to come forward to prove this weighty accusation.

"The Committee could not establish any cover up of s*xual molestation by the management of Queens College. The Federal Ministry of Education notes and accepts all the recommendations of the Committee."

Wife Dies After Husband Beat Her While Defending His Lover In Port Harcourt

A middle-aged man, Christopher Okon, an indigene of Ikot Abasi area of Akwa Ibom State, has been arrested by the police for allegedly killing his wife and mother of his five children while defending his lover from the wife who intended to beat the lady dating her husband in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Okon who is a driver with a company in Port Harcourt, was dating the lady who is his neighbour at Nanka Street in Mile 1, not knowing that his wife, Nsikak, had gotten wind that he has another woman.



Trouble however started the wife came back from the market where she hawks cooked food and discovered that her husband’s lover who is a single mother was feeding her children.

When Nsikak confronted her rival on the right she has in feeding her children when she had allegedly slept with her husband and hardly greets her, the woman took offence and called Okon on phone to tell him that his wife had insulted her.

On receiving the call from his lover that his wife threatened her, Okon quickly returned home and picked a quarrel with his wife. In the heat of the quarrel, Okon allegedly picked a stick and started beating his wife who was still breast feeding their last baby.

Mr Okon got "crazy", he reportedly sent his wife and the daughter she had from her first marriage out of his house and locked the door with his five biological children within.

Unfortunately, the wife who had been suffering from high blood pressure, fell down and collapsed.

All efforts by other neighbours to persuade Mr Okon to take his wife to the hospital proved abortive, as he told them he did not care what happened to her. In the early hours of the following day, the neighbours noticed that the woman was not breathing anymore and they forced the door open and dragged him out to carry his dead wife.

Okon is in police custody as the case is now being investigated. Love and anger, they don't mix well!

Tragic! ISIS Militants Slaughter 14 Real Madrid Fans in Iraq (Photos)

ISIS have slaughtered at least 14 Real Madrid fans at a supporters club in northern Iraq according to Dailymail.

Three gunmen opened fire with machine guns around midnight at the cafe in the predominately Shi'ite Muslim town of Balad.


President of the Madrid supporters club, Ziad Subhan, said: 'A group of Islamic terrorists, from ISIS, came into the café, armed with AK-47s, shooting at random at everyone who was inside'.

When asked about the motive for the attack, the president said: 'They don't like football, they think it's anti-Muslim. They just carry out attacks like this. This is a terrible tragedy'. The assailants fled and hours later one of them set off hisexplosive vest at a nearby vegetable market after police and Shi'ite militia members cornered him in a disused building andexchanged gunfire, security sources said.

A Reuters witness saw the scorched body of a suspected assailant hanging upside down from a post outside the cafe on Friday morning.

Residents said they had seized the man from a nearby housewhere he had fled following the attack. They said they had burned him alive after he confessed.

An intelligence official confirmed this account. Islamic State nearly overran Balad, 80 km (50 miles) northof Baghdad, in 2014 and maintains a frontline around 40 km away. Friday's attackers had passed three police checkpointsbefore reaching their target, said police sources who declinedto be identified as they were not authorised to speak to the media.

Security forces deployed throughout the town, fearing more attacks. The intelligence official said fighters from the powerful Iranian-backed Badr Organisation raided a nearby house anddetained 13 members of a Sunni family. There were reports of gunfire in an adjacent orchard.

Kidnapper Joins Family To Search For Their Son He Abducted

A driver to a Port Harcourt-based lawyer identified as Jerry Igiri has been arrested by men  of the Rivers State Police Command for kidnapping his employer’s four-year-old son, Goodnews.

Surprisingly, Jerry (as he is normally called) had joined a search party that tried without success for 17 days to locate the boy he handed over to his kidnap gang.

Goodnews was taken away from home while his mother was trying to prepare his lunch after he arrived from school.

Unknown to the victim’s mother, Jerry, the driver, had handed the four-year-old boy to a lady, who is a member of the kidnap gang.

While Jerry, who had been working for Mrs. Tenelor for four years, pretended to be sleeping in his employer’s car, Mrs. Tenelor searched for her child around the compound to no avail.

The worried mother later called the attention of the deceptive driver to the missing boy and both of them went outside to tell neighbours about the incident.

Terrified by the development, Mrs. Tenelor reported the matter to the police while they continued with the search with the driver, who had secretly been communicating with the kidnap gang on how they would share the ransom from her employer.

“We got a call from the kidnappers. I did not pick the first call that came in because I did not know who called. They told my sister who picked the first call to give it to the owner of the phone. Then it dawned on us that it must be the kidnappers.

“Later, they called back to say my son was with them, that I should get N20m ready, that they would call back in 48 hours. I alerted the police of the development.”

Police suspected the driver ad asked Mrs. Tenelor to come with Jerry, who was later detained.

The driver later confessed to the woman that he arranged the kidnap of her son, blaming his action on the work of the devil.

With the help of police, Jerry was able to ensure that the 4-year-old boy was released without ransom.

Speaking with newsmen, Jerry said, “I agreed with the kidnappers that if she (Mrs. Tenelor) paid the ransom, I would use my money to take care of myself.

“They told me my madam negotiated for N200,000 and I told them to accept it because I was already in a fix. Returning the boy was a problem to me and collecting the money was another problem.

“But my madam did not pay the money. If they had collected N20m, I would have had N7m. The boy knew I was the one that did it. I was very close to the boy I kidnapped. He calls me Jerry.

“We arranged the kidnap for three days, but we kept him for 17 days. I gave the kidnappers N15,000, which was the salary madam gave me to feed the boy. I have been working for my madam for four years now. I would have relocated to the village if she had paid the N20m ransom.”

But Mrs. Tenelor, who expressed gratitude to God for the release of her son, thanked the police for working round the clock to make sure that her son was released.

Rivers Police PRO, Mr. Ahmad Muhammad said investigation was ongoing with a view to apprehending other members of the gang. Jerry would soon be charged to court.

Lekan Shonde had denied any complicity in the death of his wife.

He also accused his late wife, Ronke, of sleeping with the general manager of a publishing company where she worked. He said she took it to the extent of mocking him with the adulterous act.

Now that the autopsy is done, the source said, “The police brought the corona form on Wednesday and the autopsy was conducted on Thursday. The report should be ready next week Tuesday. But the outcome will be a shocker to the world.”

It was learnt that Ronke’s family had postponed all plans for her burial till when the result was released.

His wife's alleged boyfriend, Kayode, is said to be on the edge. In fact, a journalist from Punch called him on the phone, but he cut the call immediately he knew who was calling him.

Police has assured that their investigation would be thorough and free of bias or public sentiments.

Judge Sentences Man To Death By Hanging And Tells Him He Will Go To Heaven If He Is Innocent

A judge told a man:'if you're innocent, you'll go to heaven' - after he was sentenced to death by hanging for a crime he denied committing. Dailymail reports that Reza Hosseini, 34, was among four prisoners hanged to death on Tuesday May 3 at Ghezel Hesar Prison of Karaj in northern Iran. The judge sentenced him to be hanged for drug related offenses despite him protesting his innocence. Hosseini, from Kuhdasht in west Iran, was first detained in Fashafaviye, Tehran's central prison.

His wife said he had been arrested because he got into a 'physical altercation' with the authorities in the parking lot of their house. She insisted the drugs were found by authorities in their neighbour's home who they did not know. In the first 70 days of his imprisonment, Hosseini was subjected to beatings and interrogations before being transferred to Ghezel.

His wife, Azadeh Geravand, told human rights news site HRANA: 'We were not allowed to visit him until he was transferred to Ghezel Hesar Prison. But, even then, we weren't granted our first visit with him until after 11 months of imprisonment. 'When we realized his death sentence was to be carried out, Reza's mother and I somehow managed to drive 840 kilometres to Ghezel Hesar Prison to see him for the last time.

'But, once we arrived, the authorities did not allow us to visit him. Instead, they hurled insults at us.' 

According to Geravand, the prosecutor in her husband's case file had assured the family he would be exonerated.

But, in the trial lasting only two minutes, Judge Tayerani sentenced him to death. The judge had encouraged him to plead guilty but Hosseini replied saying: 'Why should I plead guilty if I am innocent?'

To that, the judge responded: 'If you are innocent, then you will go to heaven after you are hanged.'
