The Defence Headquarters has raised the alarm that members of the Boko Haram sect were planning a large scale bombing during the Ramadan festival.

The Punch reports that the Acting Director Defence Information, Brig. Gen. Rabe Abubakar, said in an electronic mail on Saturday that the insurgents had a plan to carry out massive bomb attacks during early morning and evening prayers during Ramadan.


Abubakar urged religious organisations to take necessary security precautions during the period. He also called on the members of the public to be on the watch out for strange objects and report all suspicious movements to security operatives for prompt action.

He said, “Information available to this Headquarters indicated plans by terrorists to use the Ramadan period which usually attracts gathering of large number of persons during morning and evening worships and prayers to carry out large scale bombings.

“Against this background, the Defence Headquarters wishes to once again advice the general public to be watchful of strange persons and objects in their localities particularly, around places of worship and to promptly report same to security agencies.

“It is further to advice that adequate security and surveillance be evolved by respective places of worship to forestall any unwholesome acts by some unscrupulous elements.

“The DHQ wishes to reassure law abiding citizens to go about their normal businesses while efforts are being made to eliminate the remnants of the terrorists from their hideouts as well as addressing other security challenges in the country.”

Late Ronke Shonde's Husband Appears In Court, Says: I Did Not Kill My Wife

Mr Lekan Shonde appeared in court today and maintained that he is a victim of bad marriage, his mother before she died had warned him not to marry Ronke, but out of love he disobeyed his mother and went ahead to marry her. That was why when she started doing the "things" he accused of her of doing, he could not speak out because he had been warned earlier that she would not be a responsible wife but he didn't listen. May the good Lord deliver us from marital mistake.

Anyway, Mr Shonde has indicated his readiness to defend himself when the case commence proper on June 24.

REVEALED! Lekan Shonde's wife Ronke died from Respiratory Seizure – Autopsy

Latest information from the controversial death of Ronke Shonde, the wife of a dockworker, Lekan Shonde is that she died from respiratory seizure.

The final autopsy report, which just got to the State Department of Criminal Investigation, revealed that the wife did not die from beatings by her husband, as many had erroneously bandied in the media

A very reliable source in the process said:

“The final autopsy result has been released. In fact, it is just getting to the SDCI. The summary of the report is that she did not die from the bruises on her body. She died from respiratory seizure.”

The Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Police Command, Dolapo Badmos, confirmed that the police had got the report, adding that the details would be released on Thursday.

It will be recalled that the husband of the deceased, Lekan, who was alleged to have beaten his wife to death at their home in Egbeda-Idimu area of Lagos, had insisted that he had no hands in her death.

He had accused Ronke of sleeping with one Kayode, the general manager of a publishing company, and of the opinion that some of her troubles could be traced to the man his wife was sleeping with.

In the coming hours, OluFamous.Com gathered that police will make an official statement and indicate the new phase the investigation into her death would take.

Manage your issues; talk to your wife, talk to your husband, see pastors for prayer. If all these fail... go your separate ways in peace, because of your kid(s). Social media can't do any good to your marriage.

He went on to say that the destruction to Billz reputation is irreparable. He went on to inform me that legally, the onus would be on Tiwa to prove that he actually used the drugs which won't be an easy task. 

I had to plead with him for almost an hour before he could change his mind. In the same vein, if you are a die hard Billz fan damaging Tiwa's reputation won't help him as she remains the mother of his son Jamil. Tiwa is also an important factor in the determination of Jamil's moral upbringing, as he would be in her custody till he attains maturity.

Whether we accept it or not, Tiwa and TBillz are both victims here. Therefore, the ONLY winning team is #TeamJamiland for this team to win, both his parents have to be respected and prayed for.
