Singer Harrysong Uses Stolen Images To Announce The Arrival Of His Twins

So after some serious investigation online, it’s been discovered that Mr Songz has presumably lied about the birth of his twins he announced few hours ago – he had earlier announced the birth of his twins he named Perez and Tarela.

Guess the names he gave to his kids (Perez and Tarela) may have sold him off but neh, maybe it’s the colour on the skin of the infants that did but hey, we can’t question Biology, it’s genetically possible to have that kinda situation.

Well, after some serious searching online, ogbudu.com discovered that the images the singer used as his are not actually his! One would definitely be skeptical after the seeing the quality of the images he shared though, durrh! it’s your kids’ photos, so why are the images’s quality poor?!

Prominent Military Dog, Jony Retires After Serving 68 Years in US Department of Defence

Police Dog

A U.S. Air Force dog identified as Jony, serving with the 20th Security Forces Squadron, has retired after nine years (or 68 dog years) of distinguished service, the U.S. Department of Defence has said.

Pentagon, in a statement, said Jony retired due to a compressed disc in his spine, and has been permanently put in the hands of its handler, Air Force Staff Sergeant Anthony Despins, a military working dog handler, who met Jony as his first canine partner in 2012.

“Together, the two used their individual skill sets to make a formidable team, eventually becoming certified as an explosives detection and patrol unit to keep people around the world safe and their fellow airmen out of harm’s way,” Pentagon said.

“Jony was really excited, always happy to see people and very energetic. Even back then, Jony knew what was expected of him and how to do his job. “Jony’s performance during his initial training determined what certifications he received; military working dogs can receive narcotics and explosives credentials as well as certification as a patrol dog.

“All their physical traits: their sight, their hearing, their nose, their speed, their teeth, dogs bring so much to the table – things we can’t do and the equipment we’re provided can’t do.

“Although the physical traits are necessary for success, it takes more than just advanced senses for a dog to pass initial training. “They must be able to listen to commands. If they can’t do that they’ll automatically be disqualified. Some dogs just don’t have the drive,” Pentagon quoted Despins as saying.

According to Pentagon, after Despins, Jony served with five other handlers, including Air Force Sgt. Kevin Davis Jr., and the pair were deployed to Afghanistan together in 2013. The Pentagon described Jony’s period with the military as a “distinguished service”.

“During one of his deployments, Jony went on more than 60 missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, finding six explosives and enduring five firefights. “Jony also went on seven explosive detection missions with the Secret Service in support of the president and vice president of the United States.

“Thanks to Jony’s acute sense of smell, Davis and his team were able to come back home to their families.”

According to Davis, the unwavering faith between military working dogs and handlers is not left behind on the battlefield.

“They’re wingmen. Not only are they there through the thick and thin, the good times and the bad times, they’re there to protect and they’re there to watch out for you,” he said.

According to Davis, the bond is incomparable to any other. “You can create a facade as you’re going through your day to day. However the dog knows; they know when something’s not right or if you feel down or depressed and are just trying to keep a straight face,” Davis said.

Air Force Staff Sergeant Robert Coughlin, another military working dogs handler with the Squadron, said: “Dogs would sacrifice and do anything for their handler. It doesn’t matter what it is. They have no fear of what they go into as far as the danger.”

Pentagon said Air Force Staff, Sergeant Kathryn McCarthy, also a military working dogs handler, read a poem titled “Guardians of the Night,” dedicated to military working dogs and their service, and traditionally read at their retirement ceremonies, in honour of Jony.

The U.S Secret Service Can No Longer Afford the Trump Large Family Lifestyle...See Details of New Budget

The Trumps

President Donald Trump’s frequent travel, large family and unusual living situation are apparently weighing heavily on the Secret Service’s budget. The agency recently requested an additional $60 million in spending for fiscal year 2018, according to a Washington Post report on Tuesday.

Nearly $27 million of that was to be earmarked for security at the president’s private residence at Trump Tower in New York, where first lady Melania Trump lives with their 11-year-old son.

The Secret Service also said it needed another $33 million to cover travel costs incurred by “the president, vice president and other visiting heads of state.”

The Office of Management and Budget rejected the request, a source told the Post, which could potentially force the Secret Service to scale back on other operations, like investigations into cyber hacking, counterfeit currency, financial crimes or missing and exploited minors.

The Post report comes amid questions about the president’s regular weekend jaunts to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. Trump has made at least five trips to the “Southern White House” since his inauguration, each time costing taxpayers an estimated $3 million or more.

Providing Secret Service details for the first lady and the rest of Trump’s family, including his four adult sons and daughters, has also led to mounting costs.

Although this level of protection is standard for the first family, the specific needs of Trump’s older children have attracted scrutiny. In February, for example, Eric Trump flew to Uruguay to promote the Trump Organization. The trip ended up costing taxpayers nearly $90,000 in hotel bills for the Secret Service agents who accompanied him, leading to renewed criticism of how the president’s business interests intertwine with government functions.

The idea of taxpayers footing higher bills to protect the wealthy Trumps may not sit well with critics of the harsh federal budget the president released last week.

Trump’s plan proposes eliminating a number of antipoverty programs. At a press conference this week, White House press secretary Sean Spicer said there was no hypocrisy here.

“Presidents always travel,” said Spicer. “The president, wherever he goes, he carries the apparatus of the White House with us. That is just something that happens.”

Cameroon Forcefully Deported 2,600 Nigerians In 10 Weeks- UN

UN Soldiers

United Nations Refugee Agency on Tuesday said over 2,600 refugees have been forcefully returned back to Nigeria in 2017.

The UNHCR said these forceful returns have continued unabated after the governments of Nigeria and Cameroon signed a tripartite agreement with UNHCR.

A statement from the UNHCR spokesperson, Babar Baloch, said Cameroonian troops returned refugees against their will, without allowing them time to collect their belongings.

“In one incident on March 4, some 26 men, and 27 women and children, were sent back from the Cameroonian border town of Amtide, in Kolofata district, where they had sought refuge, according to UNHCR monitoring teams in the border regions”.

He said those returned included a one-year-old child and a nine-month pregnant woman, who gave birth the day after her arrival to a camp for displaced people in Banki.

“During the chaos, families were separated and some women were forced to leave their young children behind in Cameroon, including a child less than three years old,” he said.

About 17 people, who claimed to be Cameroonian nationals, were also deported by mistake to Banki, the spokesman added.

“While acknowledging the generosity of the Government of Cameroon and local communities who host over 85,000 Nigerian refugees, UNHCR calls on the Government of Cameroon to honour its obligations under international and regional refugee protection instruments, as well as Cameroonian law.

“The forced return of asylum seekers and refugees is refoulement, or forced return, and constitutes a serious violation of the 1951 Refugee Convention and the 1969 OAU Convention, both of which Cameroon has ratified,” Baloch said.

In 2016, about 338 Nigerian asylum-seekers, mainly women and children, were returned by the Cameroonian authorities of the Far North region from Kolofata back to Nigeria.

The agency called on the Cameroonian authorities to take the necessary steps to comply with international standards on the right to asylum and protection.

So Sad! 16 Churchgoers Die In Truck Accident

At least sixteen persons have been killed with more than 50 others injured after a truck carrying churchgoers overturned in a hilly region of northeast India on Sunday morning.

It is understood that the truck was carrying people from three villages to a local church when it came to grief in the West Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya state.

Speaking with AFP on phone, a district police Superintendent Sylvester Nongtnger said: “The survivors have told us that the truck driver was rash and lost control of the vehicle. After it overturned, many people fell into the deep gorge in this hilly region.” “We rescued everyone from the accident spot and rushed them to hospital but many of the survivors have serious injuries.”

India has some of the world’s deadliest roads with more than 150,000 fatalities annually due to poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.

Last month a school bus carrying dozens of pupils collided with a truck in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh state, killing 13 people. Twelve of the dead were children aged between seven and 14, who were seated near the front of the bus when an oncoming truck collided with it.
