Marriage Ceremony Ends in Serious Fight After Groom Beats Up Master of Ceremony for Refusing to Play 'Worldly Songs' (Photo)

The groom walks away with his bride after the serious fight

A marriage ceremony ended in a bad note after a groom identified as Bhekinkosi Bhebhe was disgraced for bashing the Master of Ceremony (MC) who refused to play his worldly music at a Seventh Day Adventist church, wedding in Bulawayo area of Zimbabwe.

The family of the groom were forced to withhold all gifts ‘until he apologises’ to the people he disrespected when he turned his own wedding upside down and beat up an MC who also happened to be a local church pastor, Mr Miller Dube.

According to B-metro, Dube is a Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) church pastor who was hired by the Bhebhe’s family to help with the wedding.

According to reports, Dube’s job was supposed to end after the two tied the knot, but he insisted on carrying out the duties all the way to the wedding reception where everything turned nasty.

The MC allegedly refused the wedding party a chance to dance and insisted that their worldly songs were not to be played during the service.

It is also said that Dube went on to call Bhebhe, “Bhekisathane” instead of Bhekinkosi saying that his actions of insisting on dancing at his wedding represented the devil’s ways and therefore replacing the “nkosi” part of his name with “sathane (devil)”.

Bhebhe was not happy with the statements and he then flew into rage and attacked the MC with clenched fists turning a peaceful wedding ceremony into a boxing match.

Apostle Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries

Popular man of God, Apostle Johnson Suleman who is the founder of Omega Fire Ministries International, has called on his members and people to kill any Fulani herdsman who comes close to his church or tries to attack them. He issued the command while preaching on a Sunday service on the 15th of January, 2016.

The man of God who was angered that those who massacred around 800 Southern Kaduna Christains have been left to walk free, asked his members not to spare any Fulani herdsman that comes to attack them.

"Somebody called me and told me that there is a plan to send Fulani herdsmen after you and I said ok and the person said I should be careful and I said careful of what. He said the herdsmen are just going to run into the road like herdsmen and begin to cause confusion and while your security men clear them and you come out, they will open fire. I said okay.

After about a week, he called me and said please, if you don't do that, they might bring them to come around church premises. I said its okay. And I told my people, any Fulani herdsman you see around you, kill him. I have told them in the church here, that any fulani herdsman that just entered by mistake, Kill him, Kill Him. Cut his head. If they are busy killing christians and nothing is happening, we will kill them and nothing will happen." he said.

Police Arrest 53 Of 1000 Pro-Biafra Agitators Marching For Trump In Rivers

he Rivers state police command says it has arrested 53 Biafra secessionists that were part of the around 1000 that staged a protest march for new American president Donald Trump as he was inaugurated on Friday, January 20.

Reuters reports that the protesters who were unarmed took to the streets of Port Harcourt, Rivers state’s capital city, shouting ‘Biafra for Trump’ in the belief that the emergence of the new US president would curtail perceived growing influence of Muslim north in Nigeria.

One of the protest leaders and the deputy national coordinator for the Indigenous People of Biafra George gave an insight to the reason for march, saying: “Unlike Obama, Trump is sensitive to people like us … he being also leader of the greatest free Christian country.

“We believe in his policies and agenda against terrorism, unbridled killings of defenceless people, subjugation and suppression of people across the world by despots. “Trump is sane and sensitive to people like us … will listen to our cries and put in a word for us where it matters.” But the police says it is arresting the protesters for staging the protest. Already 53, it says, have been arrested.

“Arrests have been made – about 53 persons and counting,” said Nnamdi Omoni, police spokesman for Rivers state, where the rally took place. “They have been in processions, singing and dancing along the roads and we are doing our best to contain them because we do not want the situation to degenerate or snowball into something else,” said Nnamdi Omoni, police spokesman for Rivers state.

Meanwhile, Omoni also denied reports that the police killed about 11 of the pro-Biafra agitators as claimed by IPOB spokesperson Emma Powerful in a statement.

According to Omoni, the police did not open fire on protesters as alleged and nobody died.
