Lady Burns Down Her Boyfriend's House After Breakup (Photos)

An aggrieved lady allegedly burnt down a four bedroom apartment after her estranged boyfriend broke off the relationship.

According to the person who shared this, the lady is still pleading and expecting to makeup with her "lover" despite making an attempt on his life.

Read below what was shared by Victor Ibeh on Facebook:

This was how my friend ended his 2016. You meet a woman, you start dating, you offer her shelter, fed her, clothed her and other things. In the process of that relationship, it occurs to you that she has character flaws that she isn't willing to work on and she feels entitled that you must date her the way she is.

You break off the relationship and she becomes murderous. Makes an attempt on your life. When she didn't succeed, she decides that arson is the way out. But for the goodness of neighbors a four bedroom apartment would have be burnt down.

Few weeks after, she is back pleading and expecting a makeup. How possible can that be? Who walks back into the lion's den after an escape? Is this the same person that you would have ended up with in marriage? Why does this sound familiar? I have been there before. I have had an experience close to this.

When I tell you that evil is not gender specific, please believe me. We have seen a lot. It's a good thing that my friend survived this.

Nigerian Christian Girl Shares Exciting Experience After Visiting Mosque in Abu Dhabi (Photos)

The girl urged fellow Nigerians to readjust their orientation and refuse to allow fanaticism to blind their eyes from accepting other people and their religion.

Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji visited the mosque for an event with her colleagues from Harvard.

According to her, institutionalized religion has affected Nigeria badly that they look at other religions with a very bad eye while forgetting that we all serve the same God whether as Christians or Muslims.

"1Chronicles 4:10 - "Oh Lord, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain."

That you will give the Leaders of my Country the vision of leadership, the commitment to be upright and the understanding that Political Leadership is not rocket science. Let me say this - A Nation that uses her resources for the good of the land and the people MUST prosper.

This is physical as much as it is spiritual. There's too much bloodshed, inequality, corruption and unintentional grandstanding against the Poor, ordinary and downtrodden in Nigeria. That's why we are where we are.

God will not give us more till we use what we have.

BAD LEADERSHIP IS OUR CURSE.

We fix that, everything will fall in line. As a Christian, "Lifting Up my eyes to the Hills" in a Mosque felt quite unusual but then, my orientation and personal belief is that Institutionalised Religion keeps one a fugitive and that we all serve the same God whether as Christians or Muslims.

Life is Simple, it's we human beings that make it complicated. The more we learn to live together, the more we're all at peace individually with God.

Anyway, this is still part of our Government Innovation and Public Policy Field Trip and I'm now more depressed than I was initially thrilled.

I mean, Nigeria is so rich yet our people are so poor.

I now see what the UAE has been doing differently. I'll share more of my findings shortly. Let's see if I can create a simple, smart, workable blueprint for each Sector.

I'll give you an analysis of how this beautiful Mosque embodies the history of the Emirates tomorrow." she wrote.

Total Disaster! Iran in Chaos as 17-Story Building Collapses...You Won't Believe How Many People Have Died (Video)

The scene of the tragic incident

A tall building of 17-storeys has fallen after it caught fire killing many people in Tehran. At least 75 people in Tehran including 45 firefighters have been killed after responding to the huge fire in a commercial high rise building which caused the structure to collapse.

According to Iranian state media, it is believed people are still trapped beneath the rubble.

Emergency services, including ten fire engines, are still at the 17-storey tall Plasco building, where the blaze is still burning after breaking out at around 8am (5.30am GMT) on Thursday morning.

Dramatic footage showed the iconic structure collapsing in on itself in just a few seconds, taking out three fire trucks as it fell. Thick plumes of brown smoke filled the sky and onlookers screamed as the building came down.

At least 38 firefighters were taken to hospital, state media had reported earlier. It did not specify whether those injured were hurt by the blaze or the building's collapse.

The fire is now under control, fire department spokesperson Jalal Maleki said.

The 50-year-old Plasco, home to a major shopping centre, was one of Tehran's most recognisable landmarks.

Dozens of anxious shopkeepers and others desperate to save their valuables were kept back by police as firefighters continued to secure the scene.

The tower was built in the early 1960s by Jewish businessman Habib Elghanian and named after his plastics manufacturing company. At the time of its construction the Plasco was the tallest building on the city's skyline.

Below is are videos showing the moment the building collapsed:

Nigeria Sends 200 Soldiers and Fighter Jets to Help Remove President Jammeh of Gambia

Nigeria has sent 200 soldiers and air assets including fighter jets to Senegal as part of a regional force to enforce the result of Gambia’s contested election, the country’s air force said Wednesday.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) said it had “today moved a contingent of 200 men and air assets comprising fighter jets, transport aircraft, light utility helicopter as well as intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft to Dakar from where it is expected to operate into Gambia”.

The Economic Community Of West African States has repeatedly called on leader Yahya Jammeh to respect the result of the December 1 election and step down after 22 years in power.

Jammeh on Tuesday declared a state of emergency as President-elect Adama Barrow, who is currently in Senegal, maintained his inauguration will go ahead as planned on Thursday on Gambian soil. Nigeria said the forces were part of an ECOWAS military standby intervention force “tasked by ECOWAS heads of state to enforce the December 1, 2016 election mandate in The Gambia”.

“The deployment is also to forestall hostilities or breakdown of law and order that may result from the current political impasse in The Gambia,” it added in a statement.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has deployed to Senegal as part of Nigerian contingent of Economic Community of West African States Military Intervention in Gambia (ECOMIG) – a standby force tasked by ECOWAS Heads of State to enforce the December 1, 2016 election mandate in the The Gambia.

The NAF today moved a contingent of 200 men and air assets comprising fighter jets, transport aircraft, Light Utility Helicopter as well as Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance aircraft to Dakar from where it is expected to operate into Gambia.

The deployment is also to forestall hostilities or breakdown of law and order that may result from the current political impasse in The Gambia. Addressing the contingent before departure, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar urged the troops to maintain discipline and be professional in their conduct.

Reminding them to be good ambassadors of Nigeria, the CAS stated that no act of indiscipline by the contingent would be tolerated.

The contingent, led by Air Cdre Tajudeen Yusuf, was airlifted this morning from 117 Air Combat Training Group Kainji. Other troop contributing countries include Senegal, Ghana and countries within the sub-region.

Controversial Church Banner Spotted in Abuja Leaves People in Total Shock (Photo)

A social media user, Kitty Udu, has taken to her Instagram page to share a photograph of a hilarious Church banner she spotted in the federal capital territory, Abuja.

According to the controversial image, a church was seen listing in its banner, various fees payable for different consultations. The controversial banner has attracted condemnation from several Nigerians who have found it very appalling that a church will charge such fees for consultation.

According to the banner, Personal liberation attracts a fee of N100000, while quick marriage fee is N100000.

The most surprising on the list is the fees payable by countries inviting the 'man of God', Oracle General Christopher Chinedu Eze for prophetic predictions for a fee of 100million pounds.

From the above photo, it is likely believable that many miracles being performed in the 'end time' churches are staged and fake, orchestrated by so-called men of God, who popular OAP, Daddy Freeze, always refers to as 'Yahoo Pastors'.

Gambian State House Website Displays Adama Barrow as Country's New President

Adama Barrow

Following the resignations hitting his cabinet in its last official days, President Yahya Jammeh’s end is probably near.

The latest indication of that is the display, as at press time, the picture of the man who brought Jammeh’s 22-year rule to an inglorious, Adama Barrow on the official website of Gambia’s State House.

It is unclear if the website was hacked.

The Gambia's State House website shows Adama Barrow as new president

Barrow is expected to be sworn in today. Where it will be done, is yet unclear as Jammeh ignored military threats and stayed put in Banjul, refusing to step down.

The country’s national stadium was initially the choice venue for the swearing-in. But Barrow’s spokesman Halifa Sallah said he would be sworn in an undisclosed location.

Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz who initiated the last minute effort to break the political deadlock by visiting Jammeh on Wednesday said Jammeh was adamant about hanging on to power.

Jammeh lost to opposition candidate Adama Barrow in the December 2016 presidential election after ruling the West African nation for 22 years. But he later announced that the election results were flawed and unacceptable.

On Tuesday, Jammeh declared a state of emergency just two days before he is due to step down, citing “extraordinary” foreign interference in the country’s post-electoral crisis.

The following day, the country’s National Assembly passed a resolution that gave the incumbent a three-month tenure extension.
