PHOTOS: Two Sisters Miraculously Escape Death After Their Home Was Engulfed By Fire

It was a narrow escape for two sisters whose house was engulfed by fire. Just seconds before the residential building was engulfed in flames, both girls  had been spotted screaming and frantically banging on the window before fire trucks had reached the scene of the blaze, which destroyed the homes of 29 people. Neighbors had advised them to break the window and jump out, which they did. As the younger sister plunged to the ground, shards of glass apparently caught her leg, cutting it 'wide open'. The girls were caught by rescuers who were waiting on the decking of the house and then taken to hospital. Witnesses said they were so disoriented they could not even recall their mother's phone number. Continue to see more photos.
