Great Leaders in the world over are known for their ability to face the truth head on, eloquence, starkness, visionary, sincerity of purpose and above all selfless services to humanity which Comrade Adams, the Executive Governor of Edo State, is a precision of all the qualities of a modern leader, the entire universe is yearning for, unarguably; the action governor in distinction has done perfectly well in his days as the NLC President for Nigerian workers for championing the cause and innovation that the present day leadership of NLC is leveraging on.
The ever audacious governor has done more than, in fact, above expectations of the Edos.
Before he became the governor of Edo State, a regular visitor in the State does not need to be told the state of infrastructural comatose, ranging from bad roads networks and notably among is the New Benin turn around and from the look of things, this selfless personality can put things in a proper perspectives when giving a greater responsibility particularly as a minister of Power based on his quantum years as a labour leader which he knows too well where it pitches electricity wise. it appears the that the Minister of Power, Works and Housing is more of an Investor than being a ‘Super minister, hence, his passionate and agility displayed for the increment in the electricity tariffs was greeted with condemnations across the country in the recent NLC protest on the electricity Tariffs Hike of over 45% is described as unfortunate and most regrettable.
The assertion on a new tariff regime for electricity users in the country that even National Assembly lacked the powers to halt the plan by NERC is lethargically shocking considering the state of economy whereby many Nigerians cannot even feed two times in day, as so many are unjustly sacked by same DISCOS operators; and here Fashola said no one can the 46% increment which was promulgated without adequate consultation without the relevant stakeholders in the sector which is like a buyer determines the price of the product for the seller what theory is this?. What triggers the MYTO 2.1 are not met all at, there are conditions for the increment our Hon. Minister, Sir.

The court order was on the request of the reserved bidder, Leda Consortium Limited, following the refusal of the BPE to invite it to complete the Share Purchase Agreement of the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company after the failure of Northwest Power Limited to pay the remaining 75 per cent of its bid price after several extensions of the deadline was never respected thereby changing goal posts several times when the match is already on must be reviewed by PMB administration well known for tackling corruption and impunity which brought about the Dausukigate, must be extended to the sagacious PHCN privatization exercise which many Nigerians described as a sharing formulae of the national asset as there were calls in many quarters that: ‘’PMB should take his corruption crusade to the power sector and it is now or never.’’
According to a copy of the court order seen by this writer, after listening to the arguments of counsels to the plaintiff and that of the defendant the court ruled that both parties should “maintain status-quo with regard to the subject matter of the suit pending the determination of the defendant notice of preliminary objection was just a mere say to the power that be; thereby violating the order from a competent court of law is a national embarrassment to the Nigerians and the entire workforce of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, which Leda had approached the court after what it termed BPE’s “brazen violation of set contractual obligation” and said BPE seemed set to perpetually extend the deadline for Northwest to complete the payment of the bid price is uncalled for, no one can tentatively say whether or not the remaining 75% is paid or not.
Because, in 11 months from now, the government of Comrade Adams A Oshiomhole will come to an end and PMB cannot afford to leave the action governor, impeccable Adams; one of those who saw to the emergence of APC as a ruling party against all odds behind. By that time, a new helmsman will be in control of Edo State. Fortunately and unfortunately, it would not be our revered and un-intimidated and ever belligerent former NLC President in the history of NLC where Nigerian workers did not suffer unjust massive sack as if is the order of the day in today’s NLC.
Since the ever spirited, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole is full of ideas when we talked about representative governance if giving the opportunity to serve as a minister in President Muhammadu Buhari’s government, he will in certainty perform creditably well, because, he is a performer and transformer this dispensation needs his service. His meticulous planning and thinking will no doubt catapults us to the promise land, as his decision in the cabinet is most pivotal just like his un-faulted contribution during and after the 2015 general elections. it appears that the Nigerians workers are now orphans, because the massive sack by the DISCOS operators across the country will be totally resisted by the man who champions the cause of the workers passionately, same atmosphere is gathering momentum in Nigerian’s politics as question is being asked why our PMB gave three ministries to one person and the need for this achiever action Comrade Adams Aliyu , to relive Fashola, (SAN) of one ministry is a necessity by this government.
It either now or never for the APC government to think beyond now and put the interest of the party/ Nigerians first why Oshiomhole must be giving a chance when the Comrade governor’s government come to an end November 12, 2016.This is where the intelligence of the Comrade Governor becomes essential; hence the need for him to play a major role in PMB’s dispensation is crucial.
The turnaround of Benin City with the arrival the Comrade Governor is enough testimony/ reason why President Muhammadu Buhari should think above party politics and the needful to include of Adams Aliyu O. as his over seven years as the governor positions him as one of the best hands Nigerians want in this government when reshuffle comes calling.
