With Just 3 Months Left To Live, Kenyan Cancer Patient Gets His Final Wish Of Going To Mecca

23-year-old Abdiaziz Aden who was diagnosed with Osteogenic sarcoma (cancer of the bone) has been granted his lifelong wish of going on a Hajj in Mecca, Saudia Arabia.

Aden traveled to India last month to seek medical treatment for cancer but doctors said his condition could not be treated.

After getting the devastating news from his hospital bed in India, through Facebook, Aden expressed his desire to go on a Hajj.

On Monday, August 29, from his hospital bed in India, he appealed to Kenyans to grant him his final wish to attend the Islamic pilgrimage.

Kenyans on social media promptly responded by raising money for him to get a visa for the journey. The ever smiling Aden from the Korogocho slums, left for the Hajj on Monday, September 5, elated that his dream to travel for the holy pilgrimage would finally be realised.
