Man behind the death of 16-year Alero Eyesan, has been arrested.
The said man stabbed the young girl on her thigh for rejecting his advances.
Reports have it, that the suspect known as ‘Osama’ has been transferred to Police Headquarters in Asaba, Delta state this morning.
Osama, had laid an ambush for Alero, upon her refusal to be with him. He attacked and stabbed her in the process.
Alero, was immediately rushed to central hospital where medicines were prescribed for her treatment, but due to her family’s financial situation, they were unable to afford it.
She later died on 31st of December, 2017 .
