Woman Stab Boyfriend To Death During A Fight (Photo)

A woman who stabbed her boyfriend to death following an argument at the house where they live together has been jailed.

Simone Fergus, 34, was sentenced on Friday,
at Wood Green Crown Court in London to five years’ imprisonment after pleading guilty to the manslaughter of her boyfriend, Raul Chiriac, 26, on Monday, 1 October.

The court heard police were called to the home they shared in Zenith Close at 17:58hrs on Sunday, 15 April to reports of a stabbing.

Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance and found Raul at the scene suffering from a single stab wound.

He was taken to a central London hospital by London Ambulance Service, where he was pronounced dead later that evening.

A post-mortem examination was held on Wednesday, 18 April and gave his cause of death as haemorrhage following a stab wound penetrating the lung.

Fergus was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and charged on Tuesday, 17 April.

The court heard the pair had a turbulent relationship and Fergus admitted to manslaughter.
