Uberglam lifestyle gets hosted by Consular General of Italy to Nigeria, as it relaunches, unveils beach life range

Uberglam Lifestyle, the contemporary St Lucian Fashion and Lifestyle brand which opened for business in Nigeria on the 1st of May 2015 has relaunched. According to Brand Design Director Ama Akwuba, the relaunch was necessary to make some changes which would enable the brand be more suited to the Nigerian market.

Uberglam Lifestyle is a fun fashion forward brand that aims at providing unique pieces to style conscious society girls. One of the key changes made was in respect to the brand's online name which is now: www.shopuberglam.com

The company hosted a series of events to mark it's relaunch including an invite to the Italian Consul in Lagos where key staff were hosted by the Consul General of Italy to Nigeria, a sponsorship event at the Afropolitan Vibes and a pre-relaunch cocktail party at the Lekki Phase 1 residence of the Brand Design Director where close friends and business associates were treated to an evening of Cocktails, Music and Fun.

The brand unveiled it's Beach Life Range which includes a ready to wear Swimwear Line, Beach Jewelry and Accessories with the Brand Design Director modeling some Swimwear pieces from the collection. Other Fashion and Accessory lines like Shoes, Handbags and Belts were unveiled as well.

Most of Uberglam Lifestyle's items are produced in Europe (except it's skincare products which are made in the United States), with all the brand's leather goods being manufactured in Italy and this was the focal point of discussions between the Brand Design Director and the Consul General of Italy. They discussed ways in which trade could be enhanced between the two countries, as Uberglam Lifestyle is looking to open a showroom in Milan and establish a leather goods finishing plant in Nigeria in future.
