Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. This saying played out recently when a furious wife was spotted whipping her husband ferociously after she spotted him with his mistress. After allegedly spotting the pair going into a hotel together, the woman decided to unleash her own method of punishment. She is now waiting to hear from police as to whether she will be charged for assault. Suzana Vasquez, from Cajamarca in north-west Peru, suspected her husband Jaime Zambrano was cheating on her. As a result, when he said he was going to meet friends, she followed him and saw him go to a local hotel, and then entering and holding the hand of another woman.
Furious, she raised the alarm with a local street security volunteer group who are there to help keep the peace and together, they persuaded Jaime, the father of her two children, to go with her to a nearby cafe for a quiet chat.Once she got there, she gave him a tongue lashing, and then pulled out a whip and started hitting him.
The beating was videotaped and Suzana can be heard screaming: ‘You’ve betrayed your mum. You’ve betrayed your children and me. I told you I’ll find and punish you. ‘My children have nothing to eat and you go off and spend our money on this.’
Police said they have yet to decide whether she will face charges or not.
