Credit link is that which appears at the bottom of your web. Example ( Designed by BclemsNews ). It is adviceable not to remove your credit link as this might affect the SEO of your blog.
Though changing the credit link to your will make your blog look professional but Template designers will allow you to buy the template if you want your link to appear on the credit link. This is what is called Premium Template.
Premium template cost about $6 to $15, so it is advice-able for you to buy a premium template as this will enable you to edit your credit link and other thing you intend changing rather than seeking for free template.
Google has a way of punishing bloggers who changed their credit link and this will seriously affect your seo.

EASY STEP TO REMOVE CREDIT AND FOOTER LINK
Please follow this steps carefully.
- Go to Blogger.com
- Then Login to your blogger account and select your blog.
- Click on your Dashboard > Template > Edit HTML.
- Press ctrl + F then a box will be shown at the top right of the template box. type what is shown at the credit link at the footer of your blog. e.g Copyright or Design then something link the image below
- Then carefully include the line with your original copyright ID. (As shown in picture below).

- Then, Save your template
