Dino Melaye
Despite being cleared by the Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Prof. Ibrahim Garba who spoke today at the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions on the Senator Dino Melaye's certificate scandal; Sahara Reporters has maintained that the Senator graduated illegally.
According to the news platform which broke the news of the certificate impropriety, Examination Officers at the Geography Department have disagreed with the Vice Chancellor on Melaye's graduation.
In a series of tweets, the news medium alleged that Mr. Melaye connived with the HOD, Professor D.O Ogbonna who later died teaching at the Kogi University to award 'fake grades'.
The table seems to have turned against Sahara Reporters as the New York-based platform might be having worries about a N5 billion law suit bordering on defamation slammed on its publisher, Omoyele Sowore by Mr. Melaye.
