Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain as soon as 2019 just few months after Neymar left Barcelona for the Ligue 1 for a world-record fee.
Spanish giants, Real Madrid have reportedly “agreed” to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain, and the deal would apparently take place in 18 months’ time.
The Brazilian superstar left FC Barcelona for the French capital in August, and cost the Ligue 1 side around £200 million (R3.64 billion).
According to Spanish publication, Diario Gol, the former Blaugrana star has already come to an agreement to join Real but will stay in Paris for 18 more months.
The 25-year-old is said to be desperate to win the Ballon d’Or in the next couple of years, and apparently now believes he can only do that back in La Liga.
Last week, Los Blancos president, Florentino Perez hinted that he would like to sign Neymar and Mbappe at some point, but did not indicate when.
“Mbappe is 18 years old, let’s leave him to develop and see how far he can go,” Perez told El Partidazo de COPE.
“We have the best players. Recruit Neymar and wait for Mbappe to develop? That’s not a bad idea!”
The reigning European champions will face PSG in the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League early next year.
