One of America's most beautiful police officers in New Orleans named Natasha Hunter, has reportedly died after a suspected drunk driver struck her vehicle while she was working at the scene of a crash on Sunday.


The first crash, involving multiple vehicles, was reported around 10:45 p.m on Saturday, the first officer arrived to the scene at 11:02 p.m.

The 31-year-old officer Natasha Hunter, arrived at the scene around 2 a.m. She was then killed after a drunk driver crashed his black Acura into the rear of her police vehicle at a 'high rate of speed' around 2:30 a.m.

According to the Police, 33-year-old Chau Thai Nguyen, crashed his black Acura into the rear of Hunter’s police vehicle at a 'high rate of speed' around 2:30 a.m.

Late Natasha Hunter, an 11-year veteran of the force and the mother of a 5-year-old daughter, was taken to University Medical Center but had suffered severe brain injuries and was 'non-responsive' after the crash.

She died on Tuesday, June 7.

It was gathered that the murder suspect, Nguyen has been booked on vehicular homicide but not on drunken driving. Police said they are awaiting the results of toxicology tests but said they believe he was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Reports hitting the Nigerian media space reveals that multinational telecommunication company, MTN has decided today, Friday, the 10th of June, 2016 to pay a massive fine of $1.7 billion to the Nigerian government after disobeying a directive by the Nigeria Communications Commission to disconnect unregistered lines of customers.


The company said in a statement that “MTN Nigeria has agreed to pay a total cash amount of Naira 330 billion over three years.” according to an information obtained from AFP. The federal government blamed the South African company for the increased terrorist attacks of Boko Haram due to their failure to block unregistered lines within the grace period.

MTN was fined $3.9 billion last year, 2015 but internal and external forces talked the government to softpedal on the sanction.

It is expected that the funds from the fine could be invested to help the cash-trapped Nigerian economy due to the dwindling prices of oil in the international market.

A young Kenyan man who graduated from a Nairobi university has taken an unconventional path in his desperate job hunting mission.


The man identified as Mr Gilbert Mutai, graduated from Technical University of Kenya in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, also holds a Diploma in Project Management but has been out of employment for the last one year.

He decided to use the unconventional method because of the hardship he has encountered still looking for job after graduation from school.

The style Mutai copied has successfully worked for many Nigerians who took such unconventional method to beg for employment.

A prime suspect in the killing of Colonel Samaila Inusa, who was kidnapped in the presence of his wife on March 26, 2016, at NNPC Junction in Kaduna State, and subsequent discovery of his decomposing body two days after, Emeka, yesterday recounted how the deed was done.

Thereafter, we took him to Abuja By-pass. I asked him to lie down and relax his mind because we were only interested in the car, not his life. “I told him; you are bigger than this car, and can afford to buy another car’. Shortly after, he said he wanted to drink water, so, I went to the car to bring pure water for him.

As I bent down to give him water, the man snatched the gun from me and quickly removed the magazine. “But one bullet was already in the panel. He was holding the gun butt and I was holding the mouth. So, we were dragging the gun.

At a point, the gun was facing me and attempted to pull the trigger, but I succeeded in turning the gun to his direction. He pulled the trigger and fired himself. “I told him, we didn’t want to kill you, but you have killed yourself now. But, that man nearly killed me. “We didn’t know he was a military officer.

It was a week after we killed the Colonel we started reading on the pages of newspapers and on social media that the man we killed was a senior military officer. We specialised in car snatching, we are not kidnappers,” he confessed.

The two lovebirds, Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros and Katyucia Hoshino, from Brazil, both have forms of dwarfism and stand at 34.8in and 35.2in respectively, but in the midst of this, they have enjoyed a wonderful love relationship.


The pair who now have now been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records revealed that they met on a social media website ten years ago and started chatting on MSN Messenger.

Paulo, 30, who has a rare genetic condition called diastrophic dysplasia dwarfism, said it was love at first sight for him.

'I found her very beautiful from the first moment I saw her,' he said. But the attraction wasn't mutual. Katyucia, 26, who has achondroplasia dwarfism, which affects bone growth, initially blocked him on the instant messaging site.

She said: 'The first time I started talking to Paulo, he was really annoying. He had cheap-pick up lines.'

Paulo, who works as a legal secretary, said: 'She thought I was trying to flirt but I was just being nice. According to her I was a really boring guy.' That would have been the end of the matter, if Katyucia hadn't suddenly decided to unblock him 18 months later.

Katyucia, who now owns her own beauty salon that has been specially adapted for her size, said: 'One day something happened in my head and I went and unblocked him. By then he was already more relatable.'

Paulo said: 'When she unblocked me, it didn't take me more than a minute to say hello. we started speaking and she said I was more civilised.' The two are enjoying a blossoming love life like never before.

The Police in Texas rescued a woman who was found bound and gagged in a car boot after she was allegedly kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend. According to Mirror UK, Joann Chapa claims she was invited to meet her former partner, Alexander Salas with new girlfriend, Sarah Nicole Cruz - but the couple launched a brutal attack on her before engaging in a police chase. She said: "The girl grabbed my hands and the guy behind me, tied me up with tape.”

Police pulled the vehicle over in Pasadena, Texas, because of an expired registration – but the officer heard screaming coming from the boot. After being questioned about the noises, Salas sped off and started a police chase but “came to a dead end” and ran from the car, according to police.

Joann continued: "I heard license and registration, and I started screaming and I heard the car drive off and police sirens.” But Salas was quickly caught by police after falling on the ground and allegedly told officers he had kidnapped his ex-girlfriend to scare her.

Police spokeswoman, Sarah Ramirez said: “You don’t come across these situations on a daily basis but we are very grateful that it turned out the way it did,” Ramirez said.

Sarah Nicole Cruz and Alexander Salas have been charged with aggravated kidnapping. Joann, who escaped unharmed and did not need hospital treatment, added: "I was like oh my gosh. He saved my life. “I don't trust police officers, but I trusted them that day."

Very Sad Story! Man Rips Out 10-Year-Old Girl's Heart After Raping And Killing Her

Jairo Lopes, a vicious 'sex monster' is accused of ripping a young schoolgirl's heart out of her chest after raping and killing her in a horrific act. The 42-year-old Lopes, allegedly targeted 10-year-old Raiana Aparecida Candida as she walked to school in the Brazilian state of Minais Gerais last week. Mirror UK reports that the youngster's body was discovered on a country farm in Buenopolis, around 440 miles north of Rio de Janeiro, with her heart reportedly torn out.

The organ - which police believe may have been removed as part of a black magic ceremony - was found buried near her corpse following a search. Cops launched a manhunt for Lopes, who had reportedly turned up at the girl's home the week before her disappearance, claiming he was looking for work. The alleged murderer was finally arrested after being discovered hiding in undergrowth near the farm, five days after Raiana's body was found.

He had to be airlifted from the area after around 500 locals massed in a bid to lynch him, according to local reports. Lopes initially claimed he was innocent, but later reportedly confessed to attacking the youngster as she walked to school on June 1.

Detectives say the suspect originally claimed he targeted the victim in an attempt to extort money from her family. However, they are now probing the possibility she was killed as part of a black magic ceremony. Pictures published in the local press today show Lopes sitting bare-chested in the back of a police car with cuts and bruises to his face. These were sustained when furious locals attacked him after he was arrested by police.

Local reports say Lopes was on the run over a homicide and another rape and using fake ID documents at the time of the girl's death.

Police chief, Giovanni Idalmo de Faria, speaking before Lopes’ alleged confession, said: “We had to move him quickly from the hiding place he was found in because locals wanted to kill him. “He confessed a past murder to them but claimed he had nothing to do with the little girl’s killing. “We confiscated blood-stained boots and other potential evidence. Until we’re shown otherwise, this man was the author of this barbaric crime."

Detectives are said to be taking the possibility that Raiana was the victim of black magic seriously because Lopes has a tattoo on his stomach which refers to a sect. The tragic little girl was being raised by her dad and maternal grandmother following the death of her sick mum eight months ago.

An aunt, who asked not to be named, said the alleged killer had turned up at the family home the week before Raiana disappeared, saying he was looking for work. She said: “His house is about three miles from the property Raiana lived in. A few days before she disappeared, he turned up, said his name was Roberto and asked to speak to her dad.

“Her grandfather said he wasn’t in. This man stayed and chatted for a while, smoked a cigarette and said he was looking for work.”

A pastor was given the embarrassment of his life after his would-be bride disappeared just a few days to their wedding. The woman has finally surfaced with shocking revelation about the incident. She revealed everything to The Nairobian. Jackline Mbala Cholo, the alleged runaway bride has resurfaced with shocking revelations. The 40-year-old preacher has exclusively revealed that she is a happily married woman and mother. She went further to say that Pastor Justin Mugambi wanted to forcefully marry her. 

The Nairobian reveals that details of a marriage certificate dated June 2004 showed that Jackline tied the knot 12 years ago with Francis Kimani Njogu, 65, at Christian Church International in Thika, Kenya. The couple are blessed with two children. Jackline went further to reveal that Mugambi is aware of her marital status and has in fact visited their home in Githurai with threats to injure her husband. The matter was allegedly reported at Ruiru Police Station.

When the wedding flopped, Jackline claims Mugambi obtained a fake wedding certificate to tarnish her name and sabotage her ministry. She alleges that Mugambi announced their wedding without her consent. She adds that she didn’t develop cold feet days to their wedding but “had travelled to Tanzania on a mission that was to run from May 22 to June 5.” She continued:“Later, I started receiving numerous calls from people wondering why I had gone missing just days to my wedding to Mugambi. These allegations are untrue and Mugambi just wanted to tarnish my name.”

Jackline who met Mugambi in Embu at a preachers’ conference in 2012, further claims that they exchanged contacts since they were worshipping together. Days later, she claims Mugambi started texting and calling her, initially for sexual favours and later proposed to her. “He was obsessed with me and I had to report him to Bishop Ayub Mureithi in 2014, who promised to look into the mater,” Jackline said,

“After some time, I was shocked when a bishop who knew my marital status, asked me to marry Mugambi. The bishop knew of the normal disagreements I had with my husband like any other couple, which have since been resolved.”

Some of the screenshots and chain messages Mugambi allegedly sent to Jackline on May 29 and captured by The Nairobian warned Jackline that her reputation will be damaged in the media. “My dear just come out of your hiding to avoid embarrassing yourself in the media. There is no need to take this matter to court. I wouldn’t like you to be sued because you have no powers to stop the authorities.”

When contacted, Pastor Mugambi said he was not aware that Jackline was married until the day she vanished. “I visited marriage registrar office in Embu and got marriage documents knowing she was just available. I did not force to marry me or demand sexual favours,” Mugambi said.

“We had three committees for the wedding. One in my rural home in Chuka, another in Embu church and one in Githurai, where my fiancée lived. All the contributions were in and we had purchased everything for the wedding,” Mugambi said. 

Mugambi claimed he kept communicating with Jackline through text messages and phone calls and she even assured him that all was well. “Jackline had gone to her parents’ home in Mombasa and was to show up two days to the wedding, but she didn’t, leaving me with Sh150,000 expenses,” he said adding that, “The last message she wrote shocked me but I was still optimistic. She was in Machakos on her way home but was not sure about the wedding. I was heartbroken and immediately deleted the message,” Mugambi said.  

The incident has hugely affected the reputation of the pastor.

A heartbreaking video has shown the moment little children were forced to swallow live fish as part of a ritual thought to ease breathing problems in India. A crowd of 100,000 people gathered at Hyderabad's Exhibition Ground to take part in the ritual. It's gathered that Indians of all ages participate in the annual ceremony in which they must eat the wriggling fish. Sufferers gather every June in the southern city to gulp down the fish stuffed with a yellow herbal paste, in the hope that it will help them breathe more easily.

Administered by the Bathini Goud family, the therapy is a secret formula of herbs, handed down by generations only to family members. The clip shows the wriggling fish being marinaded in the paste, before members of the Goud fmaili stick their fingers down people's throats to make sure the fish goes down.

Those administering the treatment often clamp their hands over their mouths and noses afterwards to force them to swallow, sometimes giving their neck a quick massage afterwards to help ease the discomfort. The family, who will not reveal the secret formula of the yellow paste, claim it was received from a Hindu saint in 1845.

In the clip, one boy is heavily scolded and smacked as he runs away in order to avoid having to swallow a fish. The herbs are inserted in the mouth of a live sardine, or murrel fish, and the wriggling 5cm fish are slipped into the patient's throat, often leaving them retching.

The family maintains the fish clear the throat on their way down and permanently cure asthma and other respiratory problems - if the treatment is administered three years running. After digesting the treatment, patients are told to go on a strict diet for 45 days.

Thousands of people travel from across India for the free medicine during a two-day period, the specific dates of which are determined by the onset of the monsoon every June.
