Not only was
it a chance for the Sleek Nigeria team to interactive with the guests but it
was also a moment of networking, skincare demonstrations, presentations by
professional dermatologists, not forgetting great music and lots of finger
foods and drinks.
The event
started with an opening remark and the introduction of S.Studio Skincare range
by the CEO of Sleek Studio Nigeria; Dr Ebele Ugochukwu . Dr Ebele Ugochukwu is
not only the CEO of Sleek Studio Nigeria but it also a qualified Dermatologist;
she enlightened the guests about the S.Studio Skincare line, consisting of the Exfoliating
and Lightning Range that provides all the Skincare needs of women of color. She
emphasized that effective exfoliation is key in maintaining good skin and the
S Studio lightening range is made up of natural
lightening agents; making the products safe for lifelong use.
She warned that
S.Studio products don’t bleach the Skin and further added the need for spf
day creams to reduce sun exposure; especially in our tropical climate.
Dr. Ayesha Akinkugbe who is a consultant dermatologist
in Lagos University Teaching Hospital came up to give a relatable presentation
on the effects of sunburn, skin issues and solutions.
Ify Otuya entertained the quests with wonderful soulful
music while another highlight from the event saw the CEO, reward the winner of the
Sleek Slogan contest organized by Sleek Studio this year, with a Samsung Tab
and a luxurious goody bag filled with S.studio Skincare products.
All
attendees also went home with goody bags filled with amazing prodcts from Sleek
Studio’s Skincare range.
