A Saudi man has allegedly divorced his wife of 8 years and mother of his 3 kids through WhatsApp. The man told his wife he was travelling to Morocco on a business trip that would not last more than two weeks. On the 23rd day, he sent her a text on WhatsApp telling her he is divorcing her and marrying a Moroccan woman. The woman had tried to contact her husband to ask why he was late in returning home when the shocking message landed in her mobile phone.
“He told her by a WhatsApp message that she must pack and go back to her family with the children,” the Saudi Arabic language daily Sada said.
According to the Paper, the woman’s father contacted the husband in Morocco and asked him why he was divorcing his wife after eight years of marriage. “He told his wife’s father that he had married a Moroccan woman who stipulated that he must divorce his wife,” the paper added.
