Pratyusha was rushed to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai where she was sadly pronounced dead. The news was confirmed by her close friend and fellow actress Kamya Punjabi.
Meanwhile Pratyusha's former co-star Sidharth Shukla said she was 'shocked' to hear of her friend's passing. "I also just heard the news and I am shocked," she told Bollywood Life. "This is indeed very sad and depressing."
Bollywood Life also reports that Pratyusha had become 'extremely depressed' over her relationship with her boyfriend. The website adds that the couple were planning to get married soon.
