Soldier Mum Who Murdered Daughter 'Poses For Photoshopped Images With Toddler As 'Angel' At Her Grave'

A woman accused of beating her two-year-old daughter to death reportedly ordered digitally-altered photographs with the child appearing as an angel in.

Jeanie Ditty, a 23-year-old soldier, is accused of the neglect and murder of her daughter Macy Grace in December last year.

A month after her death, her mother reportedly ordered photographs depicting Macy Grace as an 'angel' next to her.

One of the images appears to show the mother and daughter reading on a picnic blanket outside on a sunny day....

Another looks like the little girl with her hand on her Ditty's shoulder, comforting her as she visits her grave.

The pictures were created by photographer Sunny Jo, the Mail Online reported, who specialises in making 'memories' for those who have lost a loved one.

According to Mr Jo, Ditty had told him that Macy Grace choked to death on a banana.

The North Carolina soldier, who serves at Fort Bragg, was charged with first-degree murder and inflicting bodily harm that resulted in her daughter's death.

Her boyfriend Zachary Earl Keefer, 32, was also charged on the same counts.

If found guilty, they could face the death penalty.

District Attorney Billy West previously told news channel ABC 11: "It's a tough case, you know this child did not die of natural causes.

"And it's heart-wrenching to think that this could happen to a young child this way and we are going to do everything we can to see that justice is done in this case."

She and Keefer, who is not Macy Grace's father, will next, appear in court on April 14.
