A mother was left unable to feed her baby son as she was rushed to hospital after she suddenly took ill and was put on strong medication which left her unable to feed 11 month-old Rio. Mum-of-two, Ronja Wiedenbeck, 26, was inundated with offers from a 1,000-strong army of volunteer breast-feeders after she logged onto the 'Breastfeeding Yummy Mummies' Facebook group from her hospital bed asking for volunteer 'wet nurses'. Within an hour of posting the request, five complete strangers showed up at the hospital to breastfeed baby Rio. Ronja, who was at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, said she was 'totally overwhelmed' after receiving the kind responses. See more pics after the cut.
