Part of the accident scene
There was an incident of traffic gridlock at the Idi Ape area of Ibadan this evening, 30th of December, 2016 following a road accident that led to the destruction of a couple of vehicles.
An eyewitness fowarded pictures from the scene to ogbudu.com with sketchy details of how the incident occurred with less than 72 hours into the new year - 2017. A retired DSS official whose private car was crushed by a truck that fell on it escaped death by the skins of the lions teeth.
According to our source, there were so casualties as commuters miraculously walked out unhurt. The Idi Ape road has since being cleared by responsible government agencies to allow the free flow of vehicles.
