15-Month-Old Baby Survives Without Food, Water While Alone In The Home Days After Grandmum Died

A 15-month-old girl was found alone in a Tennessee home several days after her grandmother passed away. According to a Maryville Police Department report, 58-year-old Anette Ineichen was discovered dead in her home on
Saturday, while her granddaughter, Brier Rose was found alive in her crib, having survived for days without food or water.  Police Chief Tony Crisp said the child was brought to a hospital, where she was treated for dehydration and lack of food. She was later released into the care of the Department of Children's Services.

Ineichen's daughter, 28-year-old Tracy Ineichen, said her mother had been caring for the child since she was jailed on September 5 on charges of failure to appear and violation of community correction.
