This is the scene of an accident which occurred in Uyo recently.
A truck laden with fuel had fallen and overturned leading to the spilling of fuel in the area. Residents who could not resist the urge to scoop free fuel at accident scene stormed the area to gather the highly inflammable liquid.
Although fully aware that their action was entirely dangerous and could lead to fatal conseqeunces, the residents threw caution to the winds as they kept scooping the fuel.
