Former African Presidents, under the aegis of Champions for an AIDS-Free
Generation in Africa, yesterday said over 3.4 per cent of Nigerians are
currently living with the dreaded HIV/AIDS. The percentage put forward
by the ex- presidents, means about 5.7 million of Nigeria’s 170 million
are currently infected with the virus.
