Notorious Armed Robber Popularly Known As 'Pastor' Shot Dead In Benue

Nemesis finally caught up a with a notorious robber, popularly known as Pastor, who had been terrorizing residents of Gboko in Benue State, for months. Pastor, who is believed to be among the killers of a late pharmacist, Labe, was on Monday morning, shot dead while driving with his friend in a Honda car in Gboko town. An insider hinted that the dreaded robber was accosted by some men from a rival group along Gboko road and opened fire, killing him and the other occupant on the spot.

Pastor was among the repented criminals who surrendered arms and were granted amnesty by the Benue state government recently. The remains of the victims have been deposited at the general hospital in Gboko.
