Despite the fact that Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo has no trophy to show for his goal-laden 2014/2015 Season, he has managed to
edge Barcelona rival, Lionel Messi to clinch the third spot on the new Forbes
list of richest sportsmen and women. At least he won
something!
With
Ronaldo earning a total of $79.6m in the last 12 months, he is very well ahead
of his arch rival, Messi who raked in $73.8m for the same period. The rivals
appeared as third and fourth on the 2015 issue of Forbes ‘World’s Highest-Paid
Athletes’.
Congrats to Ronaldo...
