33-year-old Bukola Olowookere, an employee of the Ecobank branch at Bourdillon, Ikoyi, Lagos, has been missing since May 5, 2016, sending her family into panic because no clue has yet to emerge as to her whereabouts. Her husband of four years, Adewale, told Saturday PUNCH on Thursday that as she left her office at the close of work on the fateful day, she went missing, despite the fact that she called him to say she was on her way home.
According to Adewale, she called around 7pm as she stepped out of her office. But that was the last he heard from her. Adewale said they have a four-year-old son who has been asking for his mother consistently.
Saturday PUNCH learnt that a colleague of hers gave her a lift from the office but dropped her off around Canoe area of Ajao Estate, Isolo on her way to Oke-Afa area of Ejigbo where she lives with her husband.
No one has any inkling what could have happened to her within the short distance it would have taken her to get home.
