Outrage On Social Media Over Shocking Facebook Photo Of 3-Year-Old Boy ‘Snorting Cocaine’

A photo showing a 3-year-old boy allegedly “snorting cocaine” has sparked outrage across social media. The image which was posted on Facebook was captioned: “Mum and dad’s little junkie”. The boy was looking directly into the camera and appeared to be ready to sniff on the white powdery substance. This act didn’t go down well with social media users as they asked that the boy be immediately taken into child care. Eventually, the buzz which the photo created, got to the notice of the authorities the small village of Sindel in eastern Bulgaria’s Varna Province.

Nadezhda Nuri, the boy’s mother tried to assure everyone that it was a joke as she told local media that the substance was not cocaine, but flour. She claimed that it was her 13-year-old daughter who uploaded the image onto social media. Mrs Nuri said: “My mother first saw the [picture of the] children and called me. I couldn’t have done such a thing, I don’t even know how to write.

“My daughter must have taken the photo and uploaded it online. I can’t do it because I can’t even read or write, never mind use a computer.”

According to the woman’s daughter, the family joke alot by taking images like the controversial one often. She said: “I was only joking, I got the idea from Facebook. I have never seen real drugs. I once saw a woman on Facebook making lines with flour and then snorting it.”

However, local reports indicate child services are looking into the matter.
